Jimmy John's, Independence MO

Ate in restaurant once and place was clean, and nice music on and the workers were nice and helpful. Normally I get delivery and it doesn't take that long. Love the veggie sandwich, the cookies taste delicious and even though I am not a huge fan of pickles, the ones here are delicious.

Such friendly employees! It would be awesome if they could warm their food, and I'm not too big of a fan of how the store is situated. But the staff are all amazing, sweet and patient. They've definitely trained their workers well, here!

The server was polite, prompt and helpful answering my questions. The food was delicious and plentiful.

Oh boy, this was cringe. The problem I had with Jimmy Johns didn't have to do with the local store itself, but the franchise. The staff were ok, and the restaurant was clean. However, my visit left me uncomfortable.

The menu is confusing. It's hard to explain how, but one of problems with it is that the numbers for the sandwiches aren't even in order. The sandwiches themselves are outdated. For $13 I got plain bread, 4 slices of cold deli meat, and a couple slices of cheese for a sandwich plus a drink and a forgettable cookie. Oof. Keep in mind, for $10 I could make a pretty thick sandwich for myself at Walmart using the same ingredients.

The worst part of the visit was the decor. It's like it was design by a boomer uncle. You know, the kind that says poverty is a choice and likes Jimmy Buffet a little too much? It was uncomfortable sitting next to a sign trying to explain that late stage capitalism is a good thing.

I came here about a year ago, and I’m writing a new review since we had a WAY better experience today!
Staffing was way better. And they make your sandwhiches fast!
There was a whole line of people and we got our sandwhiches in less than 3 minutes literally!
They was on it. And it was perfect
Me, my boyfriend, and my daughter all came there for lunch hesitant because of our really bad experience last time with the workers (they seemed like they was on some stuff). It’s way better here now, and way better staffing.
On our way out we thanked them and wished them a good day, this bigger guy stopped us and offered my daughter a cookie
I’ll be coming back more often. I love Jimmy John’s so much I’m so glad everything here turned around!

The sandwiches are always great and the store was clean but only 1 out of 3 were made correctly. The staff was friendly but following directions should be a minimum standard.

Will never eat at this jimmy johns again. I got a sandwich a quartered pickle and an Oatmeal raisen cookie. The sandwich was bad the pickle was rotten see picture and they gave me a chocolate chip cookie. How does someone cut up a rotten pickle and still give it to a customer? This is kust ridiculous.

2 cars in front of me turned into an hour in the drive thru. $11 seems high for some bread and lunch meat.

Every once on awhile we don't get something we ordered, but when I look at the receipt is wasn't on there, so it turned out to be my fault not theirs.
Food and service is always good!

Food was good, and the service, not so much. The lady taking orders didn't seem like she wanted to be there and seemed annoyed by having to take orders. Maybe they were just having an off day, there did seem to be some tension between the employees. Probably won't eat in again and just order for pick up going forward.

This is my normal go to jimmy johns location but after tonight that may have to change, we pulled up to the drive through and wait about 5 minutes at the speaker with nobody saying anything by boyfriend spoke up trying to see if somebody was there and still nothing, we pulled around front to see employees inside, that’s when we decided we’ll just try to go inside, my boyfriend went in first and asked if they were closed cause the employees we’re definitely making us feel like they were, the man who took our order was very rude, the music in the building once we were inside was so loud the employees were having to yell to even communicate with each other the floor was wet with no signage. Tonight was by far my worst jimmy johns experience, which is a shame cause we eat here normally once a week

Came in to order a sandwich no lettuce extra mayonnaise and onion and 5 secs after I payed for it it was already made to go! I thought it was good service until I got home and my sandwich was made nothing how I ordered it, filled with lettuce and little to no mayonnaise! 2 workers Pathetic basically rushed me out

Every single time I want to choose the delivery option the store is marked as closed on the website and doordash. I don't understand the point of being on doordash if you only allow JJ employees to deliver and you are almost never fully staffed enough to carry through on the delivery part. You're losing a customer because it's become more of an inconvenience to order from you.

Normally delivery is fine but today I called up to order and was informed I was outside of the delivery area before I gave an address. I've ordered here for years to the same address. The guy looked it up and said it is in range and would be 10-20 minutes.now 40 minutes later and my food has still not arrived, I called and they said we'll it probably didn't go through on the app sorry. I ordered through the phone sooooo that's not right. Then she went and checked and said oh we put the wrong address. I have never experienced this from this location and I hope it is not a situation that continues to occur.

I was trying to get two sandwich combo’s delivered and they made the process very difficult. After an hour my sandwiches were finally delivered but without my chips. Every other jj I’ve been to has cared more and treated me better than this. Do better independence
