Jimmy's Egg - Springfield, Battlefield, Rd.

Very disappointed! The first time we came here, the food was awesome but this time, HORRIBLE! I asked for my scrambled eggs to be cooked very light, still wet, they came out very dry. The bacon, I should have just taken the lid off the salt shaker and ate it. The hash browns were so chewy and tough that you couldn’t even cut them with a knife. The only food that was good was the small bowl of grits and a pancake.

The waitress never bothered to ask if everything was good and she NEVER asked about the entire plate of food that I didn’t eat that I sent back. I think she was more in a hurry to be off work than to be concerned about her patrons. I’m not sure if I will ever come back to eat here again. As of now, I would NOT recommend eating at this restaurant.

Good food, excellent service! Wife has many food sensitivities and they accommodated well. Our server never let our drinks go empty.

Filling. The hash is not a traditional hash but still pretty good. My son enjoyed the double blueberry pancakes.

My son and i stopped for breakfast. Place was not busy, waitress took order, brought food then disappeared, was 15 minutes before she brought the bill. I'm sorry this is not customer service!

My wife and I went here for breakfast today. Very friendly customer service and meal was great. Britney was very friendly. We will be back when we ever come back through town.

Very good! Feels like a classic diner. I went with the biscuits and gravy omelette. Never seen something like that on a menu before. Very good! The sides are very good too and neat that if you wanted breakfast you could still get "lunch" sides and if you wanted lunch could get "breakfast" sides.

I would say its an average experience, food was okay our server was great, but most the others employees seemed.un-enthusiastic at best, window sitting us blinding us so be careful where you sit. I'll go back but definitely request my same server

They have a great Expo staff at this local. Super super excellent for Delivery orders. I really like their Expo line staff.

Their Eggs Benedict is the best! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Wish they would extend their hours. I'm hooked!

I am here right now. Very busy but so impressed. Kitchen and wait staff working so hard and are very friendly. Highly recommend!

Service was fast and friendly even during their peak Sunday morning rush. Food was delicious. I ordered their waffle combo. Fruit was fresh and the whipped cream was plentiful.

Had seen it, finally got some. It was good. Eggs over med, one was fully cooked, hash browns, chewy and toast so hard I couldn't bite thru it had to tear it off. Will try again though.

I'll start by saying that there's 2 things to keep in mind going into this review.
The first being that I went in at 15 till noon. It was bound to be busy.
Second, employees can't be perfect. They're human.
With that said, the food was good. The turkey sausage was my favorite part.
The bathroom was clean, which I was pleasantly surprised by.
Service was kinda sluggish but you could see the staff actively trying to accommodate everybody.
We waited 15 minutes to get our debit card back, as the server had forgotten that she had it. But once we asked about it, she went and got it from the little kiosk where the POS (point of sale) was and got it back to us.
While service was sluggish because it was busy, staff was friendly and the food was good.

Great food friendly staff just a bit more Attentive way to long to wait on coffee refills and it wasn't busy if it was busy I'd make an exception but it wasnt. But food came super fast and was delish.

I've never been to the this breakfast restaurant before, but I was pretty impressed!
The food tasted super fresh and the staff were working their hearts out!
The owner of Jimmy's Egg should definitely give the team their, a bonus!

Ordered from Grubhub. Food arrived very quickly, but the food was inedible. I ordered the biscuits debris, which is their biscuits and gravy, and the two biscuits were underbaked. The inside of both were completely raw. There were bits of egg shell in the scrambled eggs that came with the meal. I ordered hashbrowns as my side and they were also undercooked and cold. Luckily, Grubhub refunded my order. Won't ever attempt to eat here again.

This place is amazing! We did spend $10-20 per person, but that was actually like $10.29 for a huge meal. We are completely stuffed. Very generous portions and sides. I got the Conquistador Omelette ($10.99) with pancakes and biscuit & gravy sides. Everything was delicious, and not for the calorie conscious. However, if you are calorie conscious, all of the calorie amounts are listed on the menu. I wish this was closer to my home in Iowa.

We had a big party and had the waiter asked if there was anything we needed instead of us needing to stop him everytime he walked by, it would have been a 5. Every time he was very nice and accommodating. Food was great, prices were decent. We will be back again on our next trip.
