I had my 2014 Subaru XV Detailed and Headlight restoration performed. JML is extremely knowledgeable and has amazing customer service. Our Subaru is returned to showroom-quality looks. My wife and I keep commenting on how our car looks like a "different" color on the inside and outside, but in reality it's just actually that clean and polished. We will use JML for our aftermarket needs from here on out. It was nice working with a company that puts so much effort into every vehicle, not just the exotics that you might see on site.

JML Audio is hands-down the best vehicle enhancement facility. Josh's enthusiasm for his craft is contagious. Make sure you give him some real time at the initial consultation. He's always excited to show off incredible new undertakings, and his clients truly feel like they're at a place they can trust to make their vision come to life. JML definitely isn't your budget audio installer. Every single component is meticulously integrated into your vehicle in a way that would make the original designers blush.

JML Audio took my 2016 ACR with only two (very sad) tweeters to an absolute concert hall of a build all while maintaining the character of the car, minimizing visible changes, and making sure the best quality components were available to me at every step. After I took my car to another shop to have it ceramic coated and PPF'd, it started to peel, and just look horrible. I took it back to Josh and his team painstakingly custom cut and applied PPF on every single panel, and ceramic coated it. This was over a year ago and I still can't get it dirty.

My 2012 Panamera Turbo received a much lighter set of modifications. Environmental package and an Apple CarPlay compatible head-unit with offline maps. To this day, passengers still tell me they "didn't know these old Porsches even offered CarPlay" because the install is so good.

Every single car I own until the end of time will, at a minimum, receive the JML Audio environmental package. Josh and the JML staff are a premier and unbeatable team in quality of product and excellence in service.

I've used the JML Team multiple times for multiple vehicles including audio enhancements (too many to list), paint correction, window treatment & tenting, window replacement, paint correction, paint protection (film and ceramic), wheel painting, outsourced body work and detailing. Five years ago when searching for after-market electronic vehicle accessories I discovered JML Audio. From that time on I have had electronic and vehicle accessory upgrades to both my 2014 Silverado and 2018 Nissan Rogue SL. All performed by JML Audio. This includes an upgraded stereo system, sound proofing for road noise reduction, tinted and heat reflective glass treatment, cameras front, back and sides. All work has been done once and done well. No need to go back repeatedly to redo the same job. No doubt these added to the vehicle's value at trade-in time a few months ago. Each time I have had to leave my vehicle at his shop he has provided a "loaner" either for the day or overnight. Josh and his crew are always very professional and personable. The JML crew are the "go to" guys for audio and vehicle accessories.

A great experience from start to finish, and beyond. I brought my 06 Jeep Commander to Josh at JML 4 years ago. No digital package or back up camera on this vehicle at the time. I talked to Josh about a digital upgrade n cameras.
JML installed a Kenmore Navigation Digital Multimedia Receiver with Bluetooth and a front n rear cameras. Josh was great to work with. Explained the tech part to me so I can understand. Was clear n upfront with pricing. I've only contacted JML twice in 4 years. One was for a phone cable replacement (it connects to the receiver). And again today for the rear camera, 4 years later. Turns out I changed a setting on the rear camera I shouldn't have. No charge for either follow up visit. Josh has that fixed on a few minutes n walked me through some features I had forgotten about. I would recommend JML.

Josh and his team are the best around! Wouldn’t take my truck any where else! When you get a phone call saying it is ready for pick up, you can hear the passion in his voice. Trust Josh with all your sound needs. You will not regret it.

Got a head unit installed 3 years back and the quality of service is second to none, and they have legit experienced hands in the back, working on some legit vehicles. While I brought my clunker in. So don't be disparaged if your car might be 10 years old or $50K less on KBB. Josh showed me the new expanded bay, and it is looking primo. Recently had to get something touched up, and they took care of me with the same attitude and service 3 years ago.

I used JML audio years ago with a 2010 Nissan Altima and they were great with the work they did on that vehicle. However, things may have changed as I now cannot get anyone to return my calls at all. I've called and left several VMs over the past couple of weeks and I have yet to get anyone to respond to me. This is not quite the level of service I remember getting from them.

Update: I stand corrected. Josh reached out to me personally to explain the situation. He was diligent in trying to make sure to find me and get in contact with me. This IS IN FACT the same level of customer service I remember them being known for and receiving in the past.

Josh was amazing, explained everything beautifully, and the technicians we're able to fix another Audio center's mistakes. I also began the process on getting my system to the next level as well. Top quality work and I am grateful for what they did with my Nissan. Thank you again, Josh! I'll be seeing you guys soon for the next steps!

They went above and beyond with both vehicles I brought to them. I was impressed with their facilities and the work they were able to do. I will be taking all of my vehicles back to them in the future.

I have used JML audio for several years on my Mercedes 550 SL and most recently, a vintage low mileage 1990 Nissan 300 ZX Twin Turbo. Some two years later, I finally found and had installed an OED power antenna on the Nissan. But, I noticed a problem with the FM tuning on the Kenwood receiver/CD player that JML originally installed. I dropped by JML today and Josh was on it and in a couple of minutes determined that an Apple Ipod in the glove box was somehow interfering. Problem solved.

There's more. While he was at it, we "road tested" the system, he tuned the fader and left and right settings, and even synched my iPhone with the radio's blue tooth feature. No-hands telephone in a vintage car! Did I mention that Josh pre-set my favorite FM stations?

All of this at NO CHARGE to make sure I was happy with the original installation!

These days, it is so hard to get service people who will not just do the minimum but are determined to delight their customers. Josh and his techs are the very best!

I had a great overall experience working with JML audio for the car audio build for my 2018 Honda Accord.

If you’re wondering, here’s my list to let you know if JML IS NOT the right place for your car audio needs…

• You only value total cost vs.total value and experience
• You prefer a typical “car audio shop” experience
• You’re impatient and want your install performed in hours
• You don’t refer to your vehicle as your “baby”
• You’re not an audiophile in the least bit

WORK PERFORMED
2 x 10” subwoofers enclosed in a fabricated box installed in the trunk spare tire well. I chose this option to preserve maximum trunk space. The two tweeters and two mid-range speakers (both front doors) were upgraded. An “environmental package” which involved sound proofing in the front and rear doors as well as the rear deck and trunk. JML also stripped out the previously install speakers from the previously botched job performed by another “car audio shop”. I completed all 3 stages over the course of 12 months.

My audio build was done in 3 stages:
1. Removal of previous install and installation of the Environmental package. The environmental package is the sound proofing installation. This took approximately 3 days.
2. Bass package install. 2 x 10” subs were installed in the trunk spare tire well. 2 amplifiers installed under rear deck as well all necessary components. This took approximately 5 days.
3. Final stage: Tweeter and mid-base speaker door upgrades. A third, rear deck mounted amplifier for said speakers. DRC (digital remote control) controller was also installed left of steering column. Typical time for installation is 5 days, but to closer to 2 weeks due to unforeseen circumstances.

PROS
• Thorough 1.5 - 2-hour consultation that included a tour of their facility
• They have a wealth of knowledge of a wide range of vehicle types. I felt very confident that they knew the “ins and out’s” of my vehicle.
• They care about how my vehicle sounds just as much, if not more, than I did
• They have a methodical, step-by-step approach to the car audio build process
• You’ll come out of the process knowing more about car audio than you did before
• They offer rental vehicles for convenience
• They do way more than just car audio (e.g, stealth radar installs, car protective film, window tinting, and tail light smoking to name a tiny few)

CONS
• Pricey. But you get what you pay for. This is a facility that offers premium service from world class professionals. Given that, I didn’t feel intimidated once I met and talked with Josh. He’s a pretty down-to-earth guy who’s a car audio aficionado. This was a worthwhile INVESTMENT
• For larger projects like mine, the build process took longer than what I was used to. Depending on the install and the current number of projects from other clients, the build process can take anywhere from 1 - 2 weeks. This is where the vehicle rental comes in handy. If you own multiple cars this may be a non-issue
• Long lead times for big projects. A base package install required about a 2 – 3-month lead time from time of calendar booking (at the time of my install in mid 2021). I believe this is primarily due to the number of clients JML has in its queue. Smaller projects (e.g, environmental package install) require less lead time (approximately 2 – 3 weeks in my case)

Based on my experience with JML audio, I’m now a customer for life. JML audio has a “right the first time” approach and Josh is good at following up post install to check for any issues.

Every time I entered their facility, I saw a project they were working on that I wanted done to my car as well. Next on my list is an upgrade to my current remote starter to an iOS app based remote starter.

My vehicle is very important to me and it takes a lot of trust to leave it with someone to perform "cosmetic surgery" on it. I always felt my vehicle was in good hands with Josh and his team. I never lost a night’s sleep knowing it was in their care.

I recently purchased a vehicle that has a aftermarket double din radio and remote start installed by these guys from the previously owner. The remote start is an older system an was new when they installed in over a decade ago. After trying to trouble shoot a few issues to no avail I decided to reach out to these awesome guys on Facebook on Saturday not expecting to hear back until Monday. I gave them a brief story of my issues and i provided my phone number as requested and the owner called on Saturday and answered all my questions and helped me resolve all my issues. I live in Ohio so I'm a little far to take it to these guys or I would! Don't look any further as these guys are the real deal and know their stuff! Thanks again!

The folks at JML Audio of St Louis are consummate professionals. Every step of the process there for whatever work you are getting done is explained in great detail and all of your expectations are managed perfectly. I had a fantastic experience with Josh and his crew there during a complete high-performance audio installation in my 2020 GMC Denali crew cab pickup. They take great care to ensure that the installation is professionally done and that the install is clean and factory-looking. I never knew a car audio system could sound like this. The service during and after the sale and installation is top notch. If you are looking for a cheap and fast aftermarket experience, do not bother looking here. This place is for people who are serious about their vehicle aftermarket mods. Hats off, what an experience and I highly recommend. I ended up with exactly what I was looking for and I learned a lot as well. Keep up the good work!
