1 star for scanning. I came to this shop to have a check engine light scanned. So they ran the code and came up a 8th cylinder misfire. The man helping me gave me an estimate to fix it for $718. People don't get scammed by these mechanics. I went to advanced auto parts and bought a spark plug ($4.50) and a new coil ($26) and replaced it myself in approximately 4 minutes. My check engine light was gone and my car was back on the road running in great condition. He told me I need 8 plugs and 8 coils that runs about $244 in quality parts from my research. Why 8 plugs and 8 coils? He said you have to buy all 8 of each. He also pointed at the right side of the block and said this is the plug that needs to be replaced this is #8. Turns out he was wrong the #8 is on the left! So that leaves $477 in labor this is crazy and makes no sense. In the end all i needed was a $4.50 spark plug because the coil was fine. Honesty goes a long way and if he was honest I would have returned for much more business. Their loss!

My toyota needed a good amount of work done & Joe's Automotive knocked it out in a timely manner while keeping the prices at a more than reasonable rate. I wouldn't trust my vehicle with anyone else.

This place will most likely be the only place I bring my truck. I called today, they got me in and out the same day and for a reasonable price as well. Joe was very nice he offered to pick me up so that I wouldn't have to walk. The lady Jackie I believe that's her name was very nice as well, glad customer service still exist and I will be back

This is the best automotive shop, I have ever come across. Their services are top of the notch, with friendly customer service. They do both emissions and safety inspection and ensure customer satisfaction. They have served me twice and I really liked their services. I will be back again and again!

I am not a regular but 2 years ago they worked on my van after it was hit by an uninsured driver. I had been in there a few times before for just ordinary stuff so I knew they were awesome in their work and their attitude. I took it in today for a checkup as I was getting ready for a road trip from St. Louis to Indianapolis and back. The work was awesome as usual and the guys talked to me and joked with me while I waited. I will never go anywhere else.

I live in IL and I was on my way to Florissant. I got off the highway at Washington and my tire light came on. It was losing air fast. Lucky for me Joe's Automotive was right there. I pulled in and they fixed my tire right away. I have the screw as a souvenir.lol. I can't thank them enough for helping me. I was able to finish my errand and get back home. I highly recommend them. Joe, you and your team are the best!

I stopped in one day because my tire was low, Joe and one of the boys looked at it and told me that that tire needed replaced ASAP. They put air in it for me to get around and get my day finished. The next week I went back and spoke with Joe, he was so nice! He found the best deal on all new tires for me and ordered them, had them in the next day and put them on for me! He made me a great deal and his service is awesome! My engine light was on and I kept getting different responses as to what was wrong with the vehicle, he ran the diagnostics on me and told me what was wrong with it. Anytime I need anything done I will be taking my vehicles only to Joe and his boys!

Bought my grandson tires for my grandsons car. Joe was very reasonable and professional as he has been in the past on taking care of my own car. Very friendly. Family owned.

Had a problem with my rear tire, they got us in right away and put 2 new tires on was ready within a couple of hours very nice people quick and fair prices.

Joe is a great fella, easy goin', honest, and very good at what he does. If any of my vehicles have a problem I can't figure out, or simply one I need a trusted hand in dealing with, it goes to one place. Joe's. I refuse to take mine anywhere else. The only downside to that shop is how busy he gets lol.

Actually a honest and trustworthy repair shop in St Louis! You can't really trust shops because of overcharging, but this garage was honest and trustworthy on repairs on my sister's car

On my way to pick up my son from work and my engine, ETC and another light came on. I have driven by Joe's before so I called and dropped my car off the next day. They were friendly, kind and professional. When it was time to pick up my car I only had 10 minutes to walk up there before they closed and decided to let them know I wouldn't make it and will get it Monday. Joe's wife offered to pick me up and 5 minutes later Joe was outside. That act of kindness melted my heart. I got my car which runs great and a new place to get all my car work done at.

Told me a time I could come and then I get there told me they couldn't do it at that time. Come back at a different time. Wasted my gas and time. Won't go back. I don't like games they play.the truth I was told I could come at 9am then after I arrived I was told to come back at 11am. Only 1 car was in the bay. So don't try to make it sound good for other people and also I told you I will see if I would come back. I didn't say I would come back get it right!

My check engine light was blinking and the car was sputtering. I asked for a quote on-line and received an emailed response within 10 minutes. They got me in the next day. My car was repaired and ready to go the same day. The staff was friendly and professional. I know nothing about cars, but they took the time to explain to me what was going on and how they were going to fix it; answered all my questions. I highly recommend them!
