Great food I had the pizza a hamburger one time and the patty melt they were all good there is nothing that I would not try

We stopped for dinner while driving through Union, MO. What an unexpected gem! The food was delicious and the service was the kind of friendly that makes you feel like a regular. I had the prime rib sandwich on their homemade French bread and fries. It was fantastic and is just as good the next day for lunch.

Had a bad experience this evening, ordered a dinner
with potato salad N asked if they could switch it for me cause I didn'tike it, N they said no they couldnt N so I didn't get to eat because of something I didn't like, they would not let me order something else in exchange the manager came to my table N said they couldn't do that, I will not go back very rude N not polite at all. The waitress was very nice though.

Rib eye steak no sauce needed and potato soup out of this world! DELICIOUS 20 French fries delicious but I thought serving was too small but the flavor tasted like curly fries.

Love to go here. Only downfall is not enough vegetable side available daily for non meat eaters

This is a hidden gem! My friend and I tried it out for a change of pace a couple years ago and we're glad we did.

Potato soup is AMAZING. Wings were delicious! Service was FAST. Sheila was super nice. Restaurant was peaceful. Don’t know why we haven’t come here before but we will for sure be back.

Was the first time eating here and it was our second option since Aldo’s in Washington was packed! There were four of us 3 adults and 1 child. We ordered a pepperoni pizza (had we realized it was St. Louis style we would have passed) seafood ravioli, chicken “parmfredo ”, and Alfredo with chicken. All dinners come with soup or salad we chose soup 2 broccoli cheese one potato. The soup was great! They brought out bread that was cold if I hadn’t known better I would’ve thought it was from Walmart. Our pasta came out the ravioli was fine, besides the sauce lacking flavor… not even salt, no garlic. The parmfredo was the same just fine lacking in seasoning. The pizza was below average St. Louis style, which says a lot. The alfredo was also lacking seasoning, but not only that the noodles were cold as if they sat for awhile. We let the server know, she took the plate as if to handle it. Came back 2-3 minutes later with the same plate only this time it was HOT because they put it in the microwave! The tasteless sauce absorbed into the noodles, the noodles now gummy, and the chicken dried out! We asked the waitress if it was nuked she said “ uh maybe I probably would you like something else? ” We didn’t. They did take that Alfredo off the ticket, but still charged us for the soup, you know the one that comes with the meal! So in the end I definitely would not recommend. If you want great local Italian food go to Aldo’s in Washington. Find parking it’s worth the wait.

I am sure glad we decided to stop there for dinner.

I think we missed out on something, we need to try this place again but our first experience wasn't the best.

Stopped in for supper, our first try at this place. Easy to find. Decor has super cute cafe styled tables and such then the upper part of the wall decor is sports memorabilia. A definite clash of design but something for everyone to enjoy.

Our waitress seemee a bit dazed and after her introduction she explained that she just tried an appetizer before coming to our table, she said they were cheese curds not normally on the menu, but so good.

We placed our order and included the cheese curds at her recommendation.

The pass window for the wait staff and kitchen is in the middle of the dining room so we over heard her and the cook staff loudly discussing her wriiten (our) order then another waitress chimed in. The three loudly discussed but explained to our waitress that they weren't cheese curds rather deep fried macaroni and cheese. When she walked past our table, we thought she'd stop and explain the mishap but no.so we stopped her and asked if something was wrong. She was confused. We said if they weren't curds as she explained we wanted to pass.
She then went back to the pass window yelling that she'd pay for them. Another loud discussion ensued and she told the cook staff that she'd pay for the apps. After yelling several times about the money for the wrongly described apps she dropped them into a Styrofoamcontainer.

THEN Then when she came to our table again they explained this time that they were jalapeño poppers to which the other waitress corrected her. Let's not forget to mention the other lady waitress who glared each time she passed our table, the hostess walking around whole texting on her phone. Just not the best service. Anyway.
So our waitress was having an off day-it happens to everyone and yes we tipped more than enough to cover her cost of the app.because yes she made everyone in the entire restaurant know that she had to purchase the wrongly described item.

On to the food. We need to know what other customers order here because we missed the mark with our order.

Salad pic is here. Lets let the pics tell the story. It was brown and which huge chunks of the lettuce stem. So salad was a bit off.here's hoping our sandwiches were good.

He ordered a Philly Cheesesteak with au jus but said it was a bowl with strong Italian seasoning.
I had the regular cheesesteak. Meat was cold and the veggies had lots of Italian seasoning.

The bread was delicious as were the fries and potato chips.

Our experience here wasnt the best. I hope it was just a fluke of a day because they've been in business for a long time so we missed our chance here.

Let me know what we should have ordered instead.

My family and I enjoy all the different choices. Love the bread and oil appetizer. Really wish they would extend their hours. Only open for 4 hours on a Saturday is crazy.

The potato soup was pretty good however the rest of our order was horrible. The steak looked like it was boiled and tough the chicken parm had a weird taste and the Alfredo noodles were gritty & powdery tasting. We basically spent $54.73 on 2 bowls of potato soup. Very disappointing experience

Dinner was great and the waitress took her time with us and she was awesome! Will definitely go back!

Sauces were great! Wings were awesome. Seafood ravioli was so good. Service awesome! Only complaint would be they didn't give you any kind of bread/roll. Made me sad (I assumed it would be automatic) Otherwise fantastic experience

We ordered large trays of pasta for an event. The food was amazing and made our party a big success. I saw people filling their plates multiple times. Their homemade pies are also outstanding!

Always enjoy Johnny's. Good food. Disappointed that dipping oil now comes with dinner rolls, not the same as their wonderful crusty Italian bread.

Walked into this place, there was a sign saying please sit yourself so I did. Sat at a table for 20 minutes and not one person came by or even acknowledged I was sitting there.
