Terrible food, cold, wrong side item, never checked on us.they took our plates then a different guy tells us " I'm so sorry about the wait on your food. We'll have it out in just a few minutes. We'll we already ate.

Ordered fried pickles because I had a serious craving for it, so I decided to try them out bc I had eaten here before and it was pretty okay… but the pickles were salty as hell the saltiest pickles I have ever had in my entire life.maybe they over seasoned them, and I know for a fact that if they were fresh it would’ve been better but those had to had been frozen for days… I most likely would only come here to watch a game, drink some beer but the standard for their food is pretty low for me there’s other sports bars out there with far better food, fresh food and they actually care about how there stuff tastes. I wish I could rate higher but the food is not good Buffalo Wild Wings food is better and that’s saying a lot and their on the same level of food quality but the execution is far better… if the food was better I’d rate 4 or 5 but unfortunately it’s not.

Good place to watch a game but the menu items were quite dated. Get ready for sticker shock when you get your tab. 6 wings are $9.99

I was part of a large group for lunch. The food was really good and the service was even better. Rachel was the most efficient server our large group has ever experienced. Excellent service with a friendly smile!

You all are the worst. It doesn't matter how busy you are.it takes a few seconds to say. SOMEONE WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU! You choose not to acknowledge customers standing there but get mad when you're stopped and asked "Hey I'm sorry am I in the right spot for carry out".

Great server. Got the Nashville chicken sandwich. It was good but it didn't make my eyes water like the chicken I had in Nashville.

Came in for a late lunch - good music, excellent service, and great food. Try the new Goat Cheese Dip - it was exceptional. Well-done Johnny's.

Ordered a Melt (Burger) and received a burger set at 45 degrees on its side with toppings on the tray and bread completely un-toasted. I asked them to fix the burger but toasting it.and the Manager came to our table and asked us to “help her understand what was wrong and what we wanted done”. I showed her a picture of a melt.cooked and she responded with “so you want it extra toasted”. I said, “no, I want it toasted, it wasn’t toasted at all and now I want it toasted correctly. It had plain bread with butter smeared on it”.

I said that I was good and didn’t want it fixed. They came back to my table after with the burger and asked us to leave because of the “level of volume”.

Bar none the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

I love their bang bang shrimp taco's.

Where do I start? Hardly fish in Fish Tacos (see pic) not blackened like I asked. Hushpuppies hard & unedible. Tator skins, they deep fry & that made them dry. I called Manager over & even tho all our meals were just horrible he only took off the appetizers, plus $2.00, wow no thanks, which were on happy hour prices! We will never ever be back!

I was so excited to see a Johny's Tavern go in Lee’s Summit a few years ago. I frequently spent large sums of money on food and drink for family and friends. Today marks an end to that. A few weeks ago we were there and got seated and waited almost 15 minutes for a server to at least come over and take drink orders. No server showed up and our entire party walked out. I gave them them a break because I know how hard it is to find employees theses days so today we tried again today. Same scenario, four of us walked in and were seated at the booth closest to the door waited and waited no server ever showed however there were no less than 3 girls at the hostess desk talking to each other and staring straight at us. They didn’t even care enough when we walked out right in front of them to even ask us why or say sorry for no service. We ended up going to Martin City Pizza both times we walked out and got service straight away. Sad part is Johny’s wasn’t even busy!

Food is good, service is good, but bar needs some serious schooling. A vodka collins or tom collins (and other high ball drinks) should come in a high ball GLASS with the appropriate garnishes, not a small 6 oz.rocks glass. This is what sets apart a college bar & grill from a decent, respectable dining experience. Disappointing, especially for the price.

Potato Skins were a compete let down they're so skimpy this restaurant should be imbarranced to serve them! Let alone charge 8.75 for them! My burger was so over cooked it was dried out and hard on the edges. I was out with my grandson he was excited to tell me about his summer vaca and I didn't want to send my burger back I took 2 bites and i brought it home for my dogs. The server was young and didnt know how to properly handle the situation when I told her my burger was completely dry and tasteless. She "bubbly" said "oh can I get you something else"? I should have said yes, here's burger you can take it off my bill. My grandson ate his egg burger said the egg made up for his dried burger patty. Oooof! I am calling that manager today and asking for a return visit on him! The skins, 2 burgers, a rootbeer, and a small blue moon came to 52 dollars with tip! Yikes!

We dined in on the outside porch for lunch and had a great time. It wasn't busy so we could take our time and the waitress still kept coming by and filling our drinks! I loved the menu choices and will go again when in Lee's Summit!
