Jose Locos, Springfield MO

Love taco Tuesday. The chicken tacos are amazing. All my family has ate there the last two weeks. We will be back. Service was good as well.

The food was super fresh and the place was packed. I sat at the bar. The bartender wasn't giving the best of service. The food was very good.

Always a great experience here. The waitresses were very pleasant and attentive. We had a large party and several people showed up late and they rolled with it. The food was excellent as well.

Wanted some tacos! This place was open and PACKED!
Walked in on Halloween night and the greeter recognized me almost immediately but was very dry with her attitude. She wasn't welcoming at all. I told her that she looked cute in her cop uniform and she just looked at me. Okayyyyy. I asked for a menu to place a to go order and she didn't tell me to place my order at the bar, but two hostesses told me.
I went to the bar and placed my order again, almost immediately and the order was ready extremely fast considering they had quite a few large parties so that was nice.
I liked the decor very much and had not seen a restaurant, mexican restaurant decorated and laid out in that manner, but the service was seriously lacking and maybe because I'm from Texas where for the most part we are very friendly.
The food was HOT and made to order and A LOT for the money, so I felt the cost was worth what you received.

We love Jose Locos! We were loyal customers when it was across the street, it was Celito Lindo at that time. Maria is amazing and has always been super welcoming. My wife and I have been going to her restaurants for over 15 years. She always goes out of her way to say stop by and chat. Excellent food, great staff, and hands down the best Mexican food in Springfield MO.

Came in with a friend and sat with Bryan. He did an excellent job, treated us very nicely.along with making us laugh he also seems as though he’s an amazing server. Definitely one of the best servers I’ve had. Coming back and sitting in his section! Thank you!

Great service and the food was good too. Our waitress took orders for our party of 9 without writing a single thing down. We were just passing through but will keep Jose Locos in mind for future stops.

A bit pricey for the amount of food. Taste of food is good. But $19 for steak and chicken fajitas is high for the amt of meat you receive. Staff is friendly.

Not a happy customer!

Came to dine with family and left very unhappy.

Waitress was very unhelpful when food was wrong.

Brought out food wrong twice. Did not get to eat.

One week later I find 10 extra dollars charged on my account.

Very disappointing!

Will not be returning anytime soon or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Was in town on business I am from San Antonio so I normally do not eat Mexican food in other cities but we stopped in for a quick lunch and was surprised the food was good and the service was even BETTER!

Absolutely awesome service and food and drinks! I used to be a server and dread going out to new places because I expect basic service skills… which no longer exist. BUT This kid was on point from his greeting, drinks, food being served, brought water without asking, waited till we didn’t have food in our mouth to ask how things were going…he came back a second time at the proper moment.got our desert and bill After asking if we needed a refill on our fruity drinks. Oh… people… go here and take. Ores if your a server and want to make good tips!
Food was good.a little salty steak and not enough flavor in the queso but totally fixable if you add the salsa to it ;)

Great service friendly servers always have a smile my drink never ran dry my pollo loco fajitas was bursting with flavor I would say a five star amazing place for the family

This can be a very busy place, but the food and service are both great. We have been many times and they consistently meet or exceed our expectations.

We got takeout. Cannot speak to service, but the salsa was bland, and it was the most flavorful part of the meal. Unfortunately, my wife got the wrong menu item for me, and it tasted like a knock off of taco bell's burritos. Tried them a few times and won't be trying it again.
