I have used JT&M a couple times now for both of my vehicles. Brakes on one and CV Axle and brakes on the other. JT is always very nice and forthcoming with all explanations. The time frame and pricing has blown away my expectations. I highly recommend using this mechanic for your repair needs.

Just to follow up Travis H. Review, the mystery amount charged on the card. The last time I got my car fixed there recently he told me the amount swiped the card. I went to my vehicle and realized it was almost 40 dollars more than he told me he was swiping my card for. So I marched back inside, the owner had left his desk and that's when I saw the little sign that says they charge 3 percent (this percent amount may be wrong) to use a card! I have never been told about this extra amount they charge. They know most people will use a debit or credit card and a lot of people are unaware of this fee they charge! SO IF AT ALL POSSIBLE PAY WITH CASH AT THIS PLACE. They are extremely expensive and they are making a small fortune off that fee alone!

I am glad I see all the reviews that actually show and describe how horrible these people treat customers. I have been using them to fix all the vehicles myself and spouse use (3) cars but, I started understanding that everytime I take my vehicle there it develops another fault as soon as you get it back. My air conditioning was fixed on 07-25-2023 at this place for $1050 dollars which was initially communicated to me via phone as $960. I used my vehicle on that same day just to go to work and then back & air was cooling then on 07-26-2023, I was driving to work and noticed the air just gassed out of my car and my cooling changed. I lowered my air all the way to 63 degrees to get cooling but I still don’t feel it and when I drive my car I feel there’s something affecting something from how it started driving since then and more outter air in my car when driving than air that comes from the air unit. I took my car back this morning and explained to the guy that was there “ A very RUDE” and arrogant guy with zero communication skill. He just took my vehicle and drove it into their garage and went on to check what was going on without communicating with me. When I called them back to understand why I fixed my air with so much money and yet not getting the worth for my money, this arrogant rude boy told me to wait for their boss. I waited and started calling after about an hour or so my line got cut off and my call stopped connecting. I explained to my spouse and we went there and got my car back. They said my air cool on 60 degrees and I m wondering why I have to turn my air to 60 degrees to get any cooling which I still think is not justified. I usually use it on 70 never gone below 67. My spouse love this place and it took us time to see that they are not the same when you make them your number 1 go to. They are very non-challant, dismissive and very unpleasant to deal with. I will never recommend this people to anyone again ever. I will never use them again, no one I know will use them again and with time all these reviews will catch up with them. No conscience! No customer service! No sincerity and above all just all about taking 900 to $1000 plus on every repair without actually repairing anything. I will continue to return my car until it gets fixed and if this will end up in a civil court we will do it because this is outrageous. Then they act like everyone they meet must speak all American accent, always pretending not to understand what I’m speaking or trying to re-fix. You understand my accent before you took my cash but, after you take my cash you start turning your nose up like forcing yourself to understand me. This place annoyed me and unfortunately I can’t do anything about it. But I will make sure I leave my review anywhere I see this company. They don’t deserve half a star!

Finding a good and honest auto shop has always been a concern for me. That being said, I have taken both of my vehicles to J&Ms and they have been nothing less than fair with thier fees and the quality of service exceeded my expectations.

I had to get a new gas tank and was going to go through insurance. The owner is very short and rude from the start. I was told he could install a used tank for $498, which was less than my deductible so I opted for that. All this took place on Monday and I was told I would have my truck by Thursday. Thursday rolls around and I have heard nothing. I'm right around the corner, so I went by around 4: 40. They were already closed and hadn't even started on my truck yet. Called Friday morning and had another unpleasant conversation with the rude owner. They finished my truck, and since I couldn't be there before they closed, I paid over the phone and was told he would leave my keys in the visor. When I picked my truck up, I found that my keys were in the ignition, in the on position and my battery was nearly dead. Then I looked at the receipt and found my total was $565 dollars on the written invoice including tax, but my card was charged for $585. Not sure where the extra 20 came from. I was charged $12 for "shop supplies" $25 for a non-legible charge, $10 for gas. (He told me he put a couple gallons in it) when I filled up right across the road I found he only put in. 8 gallons. So I was charged $10 for $3 of fuel, and $20 dollars in mystery money. And to top all this off, now my check engine light is on, which was not on when I dropped off my truck. How this shop is 35+ years in is shocking to me. I've been alive and traveled long enough to have had my truck in many different shops. This is without question the worst shop and worst experience I have ever had. Never in a million lifetimes would I recommend anyone go here. Dishonest, poor communication, disrespectful, you name it. Never again. I'm not even going to try to go back to them for the engine light. I'll pay extra if need be to go anywhere else.

J. T. & crew are patient, reliable, and very knowledgeable. They won't perform any work that's not reasonable, to the issue at hand. It's the only place I'll take my SS!

My family has been going there 30+ years. My son needed some work done on an older car and was told they would get to it in a couple weeks. When he called he was told they did not want to work on his car. I guess JT has become wealthy enough over the years to be picky about what jobs he does. I guess 30 years of loyalty means nothing if the job is tough. Never go back and will definitely not recommend them to anyone. To bad, I like using local businesses.

Iv been here three times for various repairs and the one plus about this place is they have been able to get me in and out the day my problems occurred, but there pricing is very high.

First, let me tell you I am a young girl. I went in for a car inspection and they failed me saying I needed to replace my brake shoes. They told me they would charge $230 to replace. I decided to hold out and take my car to another mechanic. Turns out my break shoes were in great condition. It worries me that I was close to paying so much for something that was not even wrong.

11/10 would recommend. The owner is a class act…! They are personable, knowledgeable, and quick. The best part is that they will not rip you off… they are integrity driven.
