Katherine Burns, MD reviews
14Dr Burns’s took special care to make the experience easy. I have confidence in her as she made sure I understood every aspect of the procedure.
My surgery experience at DePaul was fantastic. I had a shoulder replacement today and the staff and doctors were wonderful. I believe Dr. Burns is the best shoulder surgeon!
Dr Burns took her time with me explaining the injury and options. Even did more research and called me later to decide what option to take. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. Her staff were also very positive and helpful.
One great Dr. Just got my right shoulder replaced and if it turns out as good as the left one she did last October i'll be very happy would recommend her to anyone thank u for all your help
Dr. Burns is very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest technology. She's a good listener and makes sure you understand everything that is going on.
Have known Dr. Burns for over 20 years. I never hesitate to contact her for any Orthopedic related advice or experience! Very pleasant as always!
Dr. Burns is an excellent surgeon. She was very encouraging to me as I continue in my recovery from shoulder replacement surgery.
I was referred by two relatives that Dr. Burns had done surgery on. All aspects of experience has been excellent, professional and compassionate!
I would highly recommend Dr Katherine Burns for a shoulder replacement! She truly cares about her patients!
Dr Burns and all of her staff honored me with respect and very good care. My shoulder replacement was without pain, and rehabilitation is progressing nicely.
This has got to be the worst experience with any physicians I’ve ever had. Never should patients have to wait over an hour to be seen. If I hadn’t already waited 2 weeks for an appointment I would have been and left. I do not recommend
Service very bad. I had surgery and the day after, I was in alot of pain. I don't understand why they would give you hydrocodone after surgery when that is just a Tylenol. Now I have to spend money for emergency room visit. This is the worst service ever. I did not have this issue with Dr frank tull staff when I had hip replacement surgery. I called the office and her nurse put in a script for oxycodone but doctor burns had to sign. I spoke with the office at 10am and throughout the day. The office kept saying they was waiting on doctor burns to sign the script. The office then closed at 2pm and the script was never signed. I called the exchange and they said I had to go to emergency room because she wish I can rate less than 1 star.doesn't sign after hours which was 2pm.
I originally gave a bad review but I would like to change my review. Doctor Burns apologized and has been excellent in my post op care. She was very concerned I was in so much pain after surgery and she assured me it will not happen again.
Dr. Burns and her entire staff are an awesome group. Dr. Burns came highly recommended to me from a couple of friends and she absolutely did not disapoint when she repaired my rotator cuff. Dr. Burns is an excellent surgeon and very pleasant and professional. Her Assistant, Lynn is equally as kind and professional. She does have a very busy office so you have to schedule appointments pretty far in advance, but it's definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend Dr. Burns. She deserves 10 Stars
