Katie's Pizza & Pasta at Ballpark Village reviews
13A little pricey, but that's because there is a proper chef, pasta is handmade, wood fire pizza oven, locally sourced ingredients. Delicious.
The service was extremely disappointing. I went at a fairly slow time with my friends. The food was pretty good, but the server brought out wrong dishes for me and for one of my friends. Totally understandable, but the waitstaff made no acknowledgement of their mistake and did not give any updates on the status of our orders. 30+ minutes later, I finally got my pasta dish. At this point, everyone who gotten the correct dish had finished. Another 10 minutes after that, my other friend was brought their correct dish.
This was my first visit as a tourist and I love the restaurant for its incredible interior design and view of the stadium. I highly recommend this place for all travelers.in addition there is delicious pizza and pasta.
Drove over an hour to visit Katie's new location bc we are huge fans of the original location. After the drive and paying to park downtown, we were turned away because their hood was down in the kitchen and they couldn't cook. An absolute bummer to come all this way then settle for a mediocre meal elsewhere because our favorite in STL was out of order.
My husband and I enjoyed our experience here! The patio is nice and it's a fun atmosphere. The squash blossoms and white bean dip are always a pleasure. My main complaint is the hostess told us to park in stadium west and that they would validate our parking. We did so and the ticket didn't work when we tried to leave. Very frustrating and probably won't be back to this location anytime soon.
Doesn’t feel welcomed. Walked in nobody at front counter so I go to the left where others are about people walked past smiling saying hi but only one gentleman acknowledged me and asked if I placed an order. Which I replied no so he went n grabbed the bartender who invited me over to the bar and asked what would I like which is fine but so awkward just ringing me up slapping the receipt on the counter no hi hello how are you. So I’m like whatever I just wanna eat eff her. Another lady bring my order out instead of the bartender so I gave her the Tip/leftover change instead. Walked out and magically it’s someone at the walk in counter Handling the family that just walked in. Maybe don’t go alone? R maybe be a diff color? Idk i really don’t feel welcomed with these workers. Honestly
This place was amazing! I enjoyed it so much and loved the vibe there. I really liked how they had LOTS of drink options that were non-alcoholic. The pizza was unbelievable and it tasted like real food. Fresh. Definitely one of my favorite places.
I don’t even know how to explain how good the food, service and experience was at Katie’s. We loved our server! She was soo fun and friendly and gave us some amazing recommendations. The Huckleberry and Prosciutto Burrata was amazing! The huckleberry Mostarda was the best thing of the night, I could’ve skipped everything else and eaten it as an entree. The pizza was yummy and had great flavor but the other show stopper of the night was the pistachio gelato. It wasn’t overly sweet like some gelatos and it seriously tasted like I was eating a handful of roasted pistachios. If I’m ever in St. Louis again I’m putting Katie’s pizza and pasta at the top of my to do list
What a great experience! From the moment we sat down, we felt cared for and sensed that there was a passion for the food here. Highly recommend the fresh fig appetizer, many of us had never had fresh figs and it was a big hit. With a mix of pizza and pasta dishes for dinner, everyone left happy. Will definitely return.
My daughter and I walked out of the game and decided to enjoy the ballpark for a bit. The pizzeria has an ideal location. We ordered a Roasted Chicken pizza. It was the most horrible pizza I have ever eaten in my life. They brought it in less than 5 minutes.it was cold. The appearance of the pizza was very ugly. It was burnt on the edges. It seems that they had brought a pizza that was left over from someone else. My daughter couldn't take a bite; I tried it but gave up because it really tasted very bad. It was late and I live far away. I didn't want to get into a discussion but I didn't want to stop commenting on it here.
Overall very nice. I had a difficult time trying to pick what to eat as I was not sure what a lot of it meant.
I got something similar to a pepperoni pizza, my friend got a butter pasta.
The restaurant looks very fancy, but casual dining dress up.
It is on the pricey end.
One of the best pasta options in STL, the pizza dough can be a bit more chewy and a bit more char, it's decent.
The chopped salad is delicious.
Overall a decent value being at a sporting venue.
