Katy Liu, MD reviews
5I am on Medicare but also have a subscription for Dr Katy Liu, which isn't very expensive to me because I can see her almost anytime I want to. I often text her my issues that I am having, so I won't forget when I see her. I can call her pretty much anytime, but, I make sure I won't interfere with her home time. However, for emergencies she is available. For meds I use my Medicare insurance. Walmart is cheapest. If the script is too expensive for me, she finds another med cheaper. I can have all these benefits as I need them without extra payment for each because I am a subscriber to her network. I couldn't have anytime contact with any regular primary dr outside of Direct Primary Care, without paying for each visit and each online service done. I prefer to use Mercy hospital because they have my records from my serious history, as well as breast exams. Dr liu can work with me through their system if I am hospitalized. I have had positive outcomes with her.
Dr. Katy Liu is an incredibly compassionate individual who consistently goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional care to her patients. Her dedication and commitment to providing the best possible treatment are truly admirable.
Dr. Liu is awesome. A very caring, kind, and gentle soul that really has a patients best interest in mind. I was a former patient of hers when she was with one of the big local medical groups, but recently started to see her under her new private practice, Olive Branch DPC. This has been a great decision for me so far! Being unrestrained by insurance and large corporate medical requirements, she is able to set aside 30 to 60 minutes of appointment time to make sure all concerns are addressed. No longer do I have to see a MA first to gather vitals, then wait in an empty room 15 to 20 minutes to see the actual doctor for all of about 5 minutes. Not so with Dr. Liu and Olive Branch. Appointment at 5pm? Arrive at 5pm and immediately be seen! No waiting in line to check in, then get called back 10 minutes later, only to sit and wait for the doctor to arrive 20 minutes later. I would recommend Dr. Liu and her new direct primary care clinic to anybody that is underinsured, has chronic health issues that need regular care, or anybody like me that was just tired of the same old passive system of preventative health care. Be blessed!
I like Dr. Liu as my PCP but her nurse has no business working in the healthcare field. Her personality is very dry and she has a borderline nasty attitude. Her bedside manner is horrible and she is void of any customer service skills. This woman will drive patients to another PCP!
I had to reschedule my appointment, so the nurse on the phone rescheduled it for me and created a new appointment. I took off work for the appointment and I received a confirmation of my appointment a couple days before. Then I go to the office and they tell me that because I cancelled I was “dismissed” and I can’t make an appointment with this doctor ever again and my appointment was cancelled. Nobody ever told me this until I came to check in, they i I CONFIRMED THAT I HAD THE APPOINTMENT STILL JUST DAYS BEFORE. More importantly I didn’t get seen by a doctor and I needed to. These people don’t care about patients. It’s all numbers. Never come here.
