Anytime I’m in the area I stop by I absolutely love the cappuccino and the chicken and rice

As a visitor, it was my first time trying them and I am glad I did so. The food tastes so good and delicious.

Don’t be fooled by the appearance the outside isn’t the best, but food is great. Just had their rice and beef aka the beef sukhar. Good portions for reasonable price. Beef Sambusa was crispy and tasty. Best of all it’s halal! Def will be back.

Yes! We just happened to stumble across this place on our way to our hotel from the airport. And it happened to be open on Christmas Day.
We are so grateful to come across this joint. The people here were real friendly, they even hooked us up with some milk tea that hit us just right down to our soul! And the food was even better.
They did not have goat but they did have lamb so I had to give it a try. The dish came with a tender lamb shank, a delicious green sauce almost like salsa, some rice, and some type of delicious vegetable sauce. The serving was huge as well. We also ordered the chicken with rice. Lastly, the philly cheese steak for the teenager. That was also very very delicious. The bread was fresh and soft and the sandwich as a whole was delectable.
The people here were so friendly and nice and they had a good crowd, which always means they are doing something right. We don't come to KC too often but this will be a stop for us. Now we are looking to go back home and look up some African restaurants to try them out.

The hospitality from the staff is excellent. Such a beautiful family! The food was is excellent. If you are in the area or want authentic East African food, it is truly worth every minute.

Truly a hidden gem. Amazing homemade East African and Middle Eastern cuisine. Friendly people, great prices. Can't wait to go back.

I asked what they had bc they didn’t have a menu and all they said they had was rice? Confused.

They have a wonderful variety of eastern African cuisine that is nursing to the body and taste very good come out and give them a try.

KC Burgers is an absolute gem! We've eaten there more times than I can count. My then 3rd & 4th graders love their rice & meat dishes (every single option is great!), and will always ask to stop by when we are in the neighborhood. This year (2022), KC Burgers catered an AmeriCorps event cohosted by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce & Welcoming KC. They were incredibly helpful in figuring out how much food we needed to order for the amount of attendees were in attendance, and everyone RAVED about the food. Highly recommend for anything from a quick lunch to go, or your professional events.

I could each nafaqo every day for the rest of my life- theirs is SO so good.
