6 I was locked out of my house, so I called KeyMe Locksmith. They sent someone out pretty quick, although the technician refused to give me a quote over the phone.
When he showed up, he went and looked at my front door and then quoted me at 325$ to open it. I told him there was no way I was paying that. He magically decided he would drop the price by 125$ if I, "didn't tell his company that he showed up to open my door. " I told him that there was no way he was getting my money because the whole situation seemed really shady. He got furious and drove off without saying anything.
The lady that I had talked to originally called me after the technician left and asked me if I would be ok with 125$. I told her that her tech had just tried to charge me 325$, and I refused. She claimed that it wasn't her tech. (I had only called their company at that time). She asked again if I would be ok paying $125, and I told her no because the whole situation didn't seem professional in any way at all. She immediately hung up without saying anything else.
I called Arrow Lock Shop, and they got it done for $75.
Edit- (Reply to owner) There was no "additional fee". The price he showed me on the receipt was more than 4 times higher than what a reputable locksmith was willing to do the same job for.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I could barely understand the operator, but the locksmith that helped me did a good job. I got charged 285 and I called them at 10: 00 am. Would not recommend to anyone.
The key only locks the door it doesn’t unlock it. Kind of mad I wasted my money on it
The key doesn't work at all, not even remotely close, and whatever they are making them out of now is so light weight and flexible that if it did work I would end up breaking it in half just trying to use it.
All of my keys fit perfect and look great! My go to key place now! Thanks!
