We really love this place. We have taken our dog here twice and she is always happy when we pick her up. This last time when she got home she was a tired baby! She slept and slept. They also have groomed her for me, they have done an outstanding job. All of the employees that I have worked with there has been so womderful!

Kim at Pooch Parlor is the doggies closest thing to a human's Master Stylist. She's efficient, treats pooch, pup and dogpound dawg with the same love, attention to detail and cuts your four-legged kids hair how you want. In the (several) years) of taking the family furbabies to her I've not once seen her speak loudly or didcipline any of her loyal, faithful forever K9 friends, pals n gals. Kim is who will always cut my furkids and their kin's manes. Keep up the great work Kim!

Always great service. Under new ownership, but they continue to be friendly and flexible with getting our dog in for grooming. Also great prices relative to other options in the area.

I read the reviews, saw the pictures and talked with the lady at the front desk. All "seemed" okay.   Until I picked up my dog. His muzzle was short on one side and long on the other. He had longer patches on his chest and under carriage. Last, but definitely NOT the least, he had 3 little clotted wounds on his chest! I don't know if he was bitten by another dog, or if the clippers nicked him, but no one told me and that is unacceptable! I will not be using their services again.

I boarded my dog here for a week in June during our family vacation. Just before boarding his allergies got bad with the bump in temperature presumably. Vet gave us a pair of prescriptions for skin and allergies. The bulk of which was going to have to be given to my dog while being boarded. I dropped the good boy with a block of cheese, his goodies, and a pair of prescription bottles woth instructions. When we got back he looked great and the prescriptions were about exhausted. So the staff not only didn't kill my dog but followed my directions and got him looking and feeling much better. I'd give 5 stars, but for the following:

1) I was told $118 over the phone for the week. I added a bath on pickup day so he came home clean. The new total came to $186. The receipt wasn't itemized. Just a dollar amount. I had been on a plane and in airports all day and didn't have it in me to fuss at the young lady behind the counter. Receipts should be itemized and show what you paid for. I guess a dog bath costs $68.2) This place is LOUD. My staffy is an anxious one. I don't think he got much rest here. When we got home he crashed hard and slept for the next two days. Yes, boarders are loud. It just seemed excessively loud when I was there.

3) Doggo's favorite toy didn't return. Some other dog is enjoying piggy. Didn't realize this until we got home. Not going to fuss at a kid over the phone.

We have boarded our two dogs 7 times in the last 2-3 months and they have done such a great job! Our Rottweiler and golden retriever love the workers and we always feel at ease when we are traveling knowing that they are being taken care of!

We love it here! Kim did an amazing job with our Great Dane, Babe even though she is a literally a GIANT 125 lb.baby! They had her in and out in no time and I’m so thankful to know these amazing folks and trust them with taking the best care of my sweet babe.

We have been coming to the Pooch Parlor for all of our dog grooming for well over a decade. We have always been very happy with the customer service and particularly with the care given to our dogs with grooming and boarding. Scheduling appointments has always been a breeze and they always were able to get us in within a week. Everyone was super friendly and kind. Within the last year or so, we have been very dissatisfied on all levels. Yesterday was the second time that the groomer completely shaved our dogs without notification. This is unacceptable. Should there be a need to do something different than what was discussed in the morning, the family should be contacted. In addition, it has been very difficult to get an appointment and we are scheduled out for a month or more each time. When I spoke with the owner about my concerns, she said “the hair will grow back” and then explained that she has been doing grooming for over 20 years and left no room for any further discussion. Very unhappy with this experience. Consider other options!

We have been going here for years. Kim, Megan, and the staff take wonderful care of our pups while they are groomed. They always look amazing afterwards. My girl also goes for daycare and overnight stays when we are out of town. I wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else. Thank you!

Both my dogs were still full of mats. I had ask for one to have belly shaved- that was not done. Their fur was fly away looking. And where the fur around their feet was trim it looked choppy. I paid $80 and took them home to comb out and apply product, grooming them myself. It’s worse to wash a dog with mats than to not washed them at all. So I had a bigger mess than when I started and $80 down

Best kennel and groomer. I've been bringing my dog here since before this owner took over. The quality has never changed.
