Kiwanis Park reviews
6Pretty good park, fun to play on and you can exercise alot the tire swing was gone for awhile im pretty because of covid 19? The bathroom are locked sometimes and the water fountain doesn't work and it really sucks and it means you have to bring a waterbottle.
A wonderful place for my granddaughter to run around and play. Very well taken care of. Very clean.
My daughter enjoys this wonderful park. Love the improvements of this place.
Would definitely go again! It's clean away from roads and it was a blast
The Kiwanis Inclusive Playground was a true community effort. The land was donated by the YMCA, along with insurance and maintenance. The Adair County SB40 Developmental Disability Board donated the bathroom in addition to the original $100k with the intention of creating a space where people of all abilities are welcomed. The Northeast Missouri Inclusion Project was a group of parents of kids with disabilities who joined together to formulate the layout and plans for the playground and lead the fundraising efforts. Many organizations and members of the community sponsored pieces to create this playground and to memorialize loved ones. Kiwanis members provided critical funding at the end of the campaign to make it a reality. It is pure joy to see so many kids enjoying what the community built.
This is a great park in a sleepy town! This is better than the parks where I live, and that is in a major city. Great job with the design! It has a springy floor to help keep kids safe from falls. We really enjoy going here when we visit family.
