Department Store Kohl's reviews
16I have been an avid shopper at Kokl's for over 25 years. It was to me, one of the best kept secrets in the retail industry. I still have my dress coats, rain coats, leather jackets and sweaters that I have purchased over the years. The quality is second to none with all brand name manufacturers. I always enjoy shopping for all my shoes, dress slacks and household items. The stores are always clean, spacious and the items neatly and orderly displayed. Please pass on my thanks to the cashier. Not only was she totally professional, but he was also a nice person to speak with. Great job all!
Kohl's has dropped many of the petite brands I've always shopped for in the past. During my last visit I only saw the store brand and Alfred Dunner which screams "old lady" to me. A store employee told me Kohls originally was going to do away with petites overall and then decided to make the selection small and take out brands like Lands End etc.
I was invited to try the new self check out and I asked the person manning this area how to use my 30% coupon. She started walking me through the check out and we got to the end but hadn't used the coupon. I pointed this out to her and she had to get help and send me to a regular cashier to fix the problem. Her comments to me about it sounded like it was my fault I hadn't used it. I said, "well, I was just following your directions" which flustered her more. So if the store wants customers to go through self-check out they need to put someone there who actually knows how to use it too!
The service was good here today. You can finally try on stuff in the main dressing room. The dressing room attendant was friendly. She asked if we needed anything and reminded us where to put our unwanted clothes. At checkout, an associate helped me understand my savings and helped us get one of the security tags off. We used the self checkout. They have quite a few of the self checkouts and still had a few regular checkouts open, too. They have revamped the store with a Sephora and a large active wear section. They no longer have a juniors sections. Its replaced with a young women's section that is on the small side because they no longer have a business casual section for juniors like they used to. The jewelry and handbag sections are much smaller now as well. The prices are ok with a coupon, but without a coupon, the prices are high, like everywhere now. I'm thankful to have a stand-alone department store. Going to the mall can be too much for me.
Amazing sales people working the floor. They took extra time to help me find what I needed.
Nice set-up in store. The flow of where different genders are is awkward, difficult going through the check out lanes too
All of the Kohls I have been do are too hot to enjoy shopping there. This one is the same.
Kohl’s is my favorite store to shop because of people like Amy and LaToya in customer service who are always happy and take a return with no problems. Then there is Brian who is always available to help me find something and Steve who zooms around the ultra clean store keeping it looking first class. And let’s not forget the vivacious Vicki who checks me out. She always makes me feel like a VIP. Kohl’s gets my vote for best store ever!
Had a lovely, patient lady in returns named Olabisi. Her demeanor and professionalism was very impressive as well as her knowledge of what to do. Truly enjoyed my experience in customer service. This was at the Crestwood store.
It would be nice if this place wasn't always such a mess and didn't shove the Amazon drop off for returns closer to the front of the store for their disabled customers like myself. Other than that, it's a Kohl's store and nothing very special.
Pretty good selection of things, and some great deals. Only negative is the staff is not that friendly when you need help
Manager made me walk to other side of store to exit. It was store’s computer that caused me to be there at closing. I walk with a cane, he was very cold & inconsiderate.
The sweet lady at the checkout the whites security followed you around the store making you feel uncomfortable while you spend your money they are the crooks
Nice workers, but many prices are too high, their petite section is horrible, the swimsuit selection is way worse than it used to be, and they have almost nothing for women who are between teens and middle age to older.
Years ago, Kohls had a robust petite department. That has gone away. I have little reason to shop there other than the rate makeup splurge.
Clean store! Love this place, clothing was orderly hung to help you locate what you want. There is always a sale!
Lots of sales are going on, but low on inventory as far as bedding.
Great place to drop off Amazon returns, fast and efficient.
Staff is friendly and welcoming.
Wish they had a little more to choose from in sleepwear and wallets. There are not many nice gowns, more shorts, and tops in sleepwear.
Wallets are pretty much all the same, not many bright colors either.
Even the perfumes were not alit if choices, all exclusive to the store only.
Didn't buy one item, as nothing attracted my eye.
Overall, it's really not my cup of tea.
