Kraft Foods Distribution Center, Springfield MO

This is where they load and seal you from inside. I requested to see the rear how load and loadbars are secured but they wouldn't allow it. They promised they will take a good care of my equipment. Gladly to have rear camera and a this is how they did it.

Park on staging area. Walk to guard shack. They let me check in early and i drop my trailer underground. Building 10. After few hours got a call to pick up trailer and papers from building 10. Take a photo of the seal when getting papers you will need it inside.
All good, before app time left the building.
Polite no complaints.

You drive up the hill, to the guard shack and check in. Then they will call and let you know what dock to go too. I believe I had Bldg 10, dock 16. Over the top of the dock doors are 10-16. They don’t tell you what the 10 stands for over the docks. I figured it out on my own. Then you drop your trailer, and go check in at the shipping office. They will call you when they’re finished loading your trailer.

This place sucks, over 4 hrs and counting.can’t do anything because my trailer it’s underground.

Friendly guard.of course it's a little confusing navigating in cave.but all staff was friendly. Overnight Parking.clean restrooms near guard shack.

Appt scheduled at 7am. I arrived 10 hrs beforehand. They were done at 7: 15. The night time security were pleasant and professional. Can’t say the same for the morning guard (the short guy with the ginger colored hair could use a customer service refresher he also has selective listening skills which caused me to drive unnecessarily back to the shipping office to inquire my trailer when it was already understood that the trailer would be in lot.
The office staff was ok. On another note there’s plenty of parking and you can park overnight should you get there early there’s a vending machine on the outside of the security hub as well as rest rooms. Slide your tandems dock the trailer and bob tail out the cave until unload is complete. Docking is inside the cave plenty of room to maneuver both blindside or driver side parking,

Building 16 is easy my Appointment was 13: 00 I was there 12 and was out 13: 20 if you flow signs to get there should be easy

Just saved this place for my Nuclear fallout places to visit. Looks like an excellent place to survive the holocaust and unlimited cheese

When you come here, park first, then walk over to guard shack. I recommend being in the 6th hole coming here, it’s a tight turn next to the guard shack. Friendly guard (black guy) lol.

My load I picked weighed 44k, I had to go to Perris Ca. I had to come back and be reworked with a scale ticket because I was way overweight being in the 6th hole. Now I weighed 42k, I went to CA with that through snow.

2nd Time: Drop N Hook, my load weighed once again 44k this time didn’t need a rework. Went to Brundidge Ga Walmart.

02/06/23: There exit gate wouldn’t work when I picked up my loaded trailer so I had to backup and use their other gate.

This place never improves been here several times and it is always a long wait time to get loaded up to 34 hours sometimes if you come get ready for a long wait

Had a drop and hook which was ready but guard told me paperwork was not done checked back in a few hours later different guard looked and paperwork was there the whole time

Absolutely disgusting, Arrived 2h after my appointment because I80 was shutdown, no contact with anyone, checked in by phone, was told to wait for a phone call, one day after I arrived and calling every 2h I had no answers. A day and a half after I arrived, they said they called my phone several times and I didn't answered, I asked for their call log and offered mine since I was right on the phone waiting almost 2 days! Talking to the guard he told me once had a driver that wait 5 days! Bad management, rude people, no communication, total disregard for truck drivers wellbeing. After 32h waiting they told me they were leaving in 20 minutes and couldn't help me out, so I should wait one more day for some merciful employee unload my truck next day! Will never come back here again! Ps. The woman on the phone from the warehouse told me she had way too many products on the floor, and didn't have space for my load. KRAFT CHEESE? !? ! No space for one load? Unbelievable
