La Boba Cafe, Springfield MO

We showed up an hour before they closed and one of the employees was sitting on the couch on her phone and seemed annoyed as we walked in. They said they weren’t going to serve the ice cream even though we showed up an hour before they closed and we drove quite a bit to get it. We will not be returning.

Went to get rolled ice cream at 635 on a Monday. Women at the front desk said they couldn’t do the ice cream due to short staff. I understand that but no one was in there. I asked if it was because no one there knew how to use the machine currently working and she replied with two of us here know how to make them. Which she responded with but we are short staff so we can’t do it. There was 5 employees working. Yet again NO OTHER CUSTOMERS were there. Super sad about this experience because I have been there many times and no one has ever turned us away. I have gone here when only two employees were working and they still made us ice cream.

I absolutely love this place! They always make great drinks and I’m so glad you she found such an amazing place to get delicious stuff from. I love the creativity of the notes they put on my cups. They really know how to make someone’s day!

The service is always awful. The rolled ice cream is nice and the drinks are okay. There’s way better places in Springfield to get boba. I wouldn’t waste your time.

I used to really like this place but I got their milk tea today and the milk had to have been spoiled it made me sick

Went here with my daughter's. They love the place. Me? I don't have anything to do with any kind of tapioca. Mom tried to feed me tapioca when I was 7 years old. And I still haven't swallowed it.

It was my first time so I'm giving 4 just to be modest. When I return I'm sure I'll give 5. Came for the rolled ice cream but that starts at a specific time and I was a little early. Had to get something since I was already there. Got the sunshine tea it was so delicious. Not to sweet and full of flavor. They have lots of selections so maybe I'll try the Boba at some point (it's a texture thing for me)
The atmosphere was very nice and clean, I really enjoyed coming in and can't wait to update.

Super fast and friendly service. They have a variety of coffee, ice cream, and Boba Tea. <3

The boba tastes great but the customer service could be better. The store is full of cheap furniture it's not really a hangout spot.

The tea/ blends themselves are good but the tapioca itself doesn’t taste like much of anything. Disappointing honestly

The drink has a STRONG soap taste I always get the same thing at other Boba places and I've never tasted soap, so I know it's not just my flavor. I got 3 drinks (for friends) and they thought the same thing.
The service was sweet and quick. Atmosphere was very laid back and clean.
Just not satisfied with the drinks.

I was hoping for honey milk tea with boba. They have all type of flavors but that one. Service was fast. The place wS was clean and the atmosphere good.

This was my first time here and it was so wonderful! The rolled ice cream was very tasty! The workers were super friendly!

I’ve been coming here almost since they opened and I love them! The boba is excellent and the rolled ice cream is a constant craving of mine. It is so good and I love all the different options!

This is my 3rd visit here. The product they sell is good, Ice cream is good, my kids love it. Their MAIN and only problem they have, is the girl with the red hair. She would be a sweetheart to a customer and then she would get someone that is not from around here, and she will completely change her demeanor. She becomes angry, impatient, and just overall nasty towards customers. I went in with my family, and her attitude towards a family member was completely unacceptable. Unfortunately for her, I was right next to him, and I had to step in. By the way she spoke to me, I can tell you that she is racist. I don't use that term lightly, but I call it like I see it. I didn't call her names (although I wanted to) nor I was disrespectful, but when she felt called out, she literally threw the cup she had in her hand and stormed off to the back, IF it if would have not been by the amazing guy that works there, who apologized to no end, we would have walked out. If you read all the reviews, a lot of people complain about her and speak highly of the gentleman that works there, apparently she does this in a daily basis.
