Restaurant La Luna reviews
20Just went here for the first time tonight and the food was awesome and all the people were so incredibly nice! Like above and beyond. Food came super fast too. This is exactly the kind of place that I want to give my money to! Go here. Best Mexican in Cape!
Been here many times over the years. Fast service good food at a fair price. What more could you ask for?
Best place in Cape to eat great Mexican food and the people are really friendly and fast. Very clean and just a wonderful experience every time we go there
They are one of the best if not the best here in Cape. Amazing service. Thank you guys for being great!
First time here a few weeks back! The chips and salsa were great that you're served as soon as you sit down, i ordered the seafood nachos and got them with a few things removed/added and they were made perfect! Friendly atmosphere as well, for sure my new go to while in Cape!
Diablo is my favorite. Idk what the second hot sauce was that they gave me, but it made me sweat and still feeling it a day later, so it was definitely good. I'm ready to do it all over again.
Very rude didn’t offer us a menu. Asked what drinks took 15 minutes to bring them. Then only brought half drinks and re asked what the others that already gave their drink orders, what they wanted again. Then brought wrong drinks and had an attitude!
Pretty good! I am from Texas and was not expecting much. It is not Texas Mexican, but it is the best that I have had so far on my trip through Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. Very fast, attentive service. Good margarita (pretty big for a medium). Good street tacos. I would definitely eat here again when in the area.
Omg this my favorite restaurant the gentleman are always so friendly and the food always comes out in a reasonable manner.
The luna pizza is absolutely! Would go here just to try this treat!
Also the caramel desert is absolutely to die for
We have been here twice now and the food is so good. Highly recommend the birria pizza, but this time I had the molcajete and it was great too!
Best in town hands down from the cheese to the main course. Owner is great and always welcoming.
Incredible food and service
The coca-cola there is reason to go enough, its really carbonated with a great burn to it. I can personally recommend the Carne Asada Fries, incredible.
The service was fantastic, I usually didn't have to ask for a refill they would just get one.
A lot of Mexican places tend to be very loud and overwhelming, but this place manages to stay relaxed and calm even on busy days.
The only critique I have is the Salsa, it is very watery and largely flavorless and definitely underwhelming for and otherwise incredible eating experience.
This was my first time here; I tried the Birria Pizza, their queso / with beans, and a margarita. All were excellent. I would definitely go back! The waiter was attentive and friendly, and service was fast for a Friday evening. The pizza is enough for 2 meals!
Food was served quickly and was delicious. Had the al pastor tacos. The owner is also very nice and constantly checking in on customers and serving. Great to see an owner so involved.
TL;DR: Great selection of food with the typical classics alongside more modern offerings.
To our delight their "coke products" include Mellow Yellow my favorite coke fountain drink.
The salsa is very heavy with cilantro (in a good way) and thicker than usual but not chunky. Thicker variety of chips.
I had the Birria Pizza. Not your typical Birria, this is served more like quesadilla birria but with a hot sauce that can be mixed into the broth. My only complaint was the higher than usual amount of fat on the meat. This looks like too much, they also have Birria Street Tacos although I did not opt to try those.
My wife had a chicken and cheese quesadilla with a cheese/chorizo/refried beans dip on the side.
Service was excellent. Drinks were refilled, service was professional, and food came out quick.
This is 1 of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food comes our looking like the picture. The owner is always working and speaking with customers and joking around with us. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food this time is because a pnat landed on my food and I couldn't finish it.
We are weekly regulars thanks to the great food and fantastic service. Tried the Birria Pizza, one of my new favorites.
Our go to for Mexican food in Cape Girardeau. Great salsa, Jalisco special always a favorite. Owner is s such a nice guy.
I usually receive great meals. Today decided to try something new- the Jalisco special. Got the full size and good amount of food. It got chicken and steak only and side order of refried beans. The rice was good, meat a little dry but bland in flavor. Had cheese sauce on side to control amount. Cheese sauce was good. Next time will have them add the enchilada sauces to boost flavor and spice. I'll eat it again but know it's bland now. Also the salsa was surprisingly bland today as well. Maybe it's just my taste buds. We love la Lunas and will come again. Service was good. Had several people wait on me. One young man was very attentive to not only me but others as well
