Hosts were very friendly and easy to work with. RV sites are inside a canopy of mature trees so lots of shade. Playground & recreation areas are nice. They are pet friendly and have dog stations.

This was my first stay at a KOA and it was amazing! I will be using KOA sites in the future around the country!

Great stay! LUIS is the man! Checked on us a few times since we were first timers. Showers are very nice. Forgot to check the laundry facilities, but wife says they do the job. Pool was refreshing, be sure to bring water toys/floaties. Nice basic playground with gaga ball (or whatever its called) for the kids with a horseshoe pit in between perfect for throwing shoes and watching the kids. Nights were quiet with some highway noise. Close to Walmart down the road South, has all your needs covered. Spend the money and go to Pancake House breakfast quesidilla is perfect for morning breakfast at the KOA. Would love to come back someday.

I’m traveling from OK to WV in a 27 year old class A motor home with my elderly, disabled mom and we have had one problem after another pop up. The one bright spot on this trip so far has been our stay at this KOA. It was my first time staying at a KOA, and Luiz was super helpful! Not only did he get us safely set up at 11: 30 pm (we had engine problems and arrived late), but he went above and beyond several times throughout our stay to help us out. He was always very friendly with a positive attitude. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely return.

Nice wooded place with quite a few trees for shade. The trees look to be around 50’ and could be 30 yrs old or so. Wifi works well. I’m in spot #10 and there is a nice fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill, and bench. The site is on a pretty good incline and the backside is next to a wooded area that goes a couple hundred yards before you can see any other structures. I posted some photos of the sewage and water that they are repairing in the adjacent site. The sewer connection runs up hill before it goes into the main line. It goes into a tee where code in any city would require a wye. The water line is running right next to it in the same trench—code violation in most areas. If sewer water gets into the water line, you could become very sick. I wouldn’t consider the water potable. The people that work here are very nice and helpful. For $20 they delivered a nice pile of firewood. It was dry and pretty thick. You need a hatchet to split it smaller. The shower/bathroom looks newly tiled and is clean. They can refill propane tanks. Super WalMart center is only 3 miles away as well as a Taco Bell, Sonic, and McDonalds. At night, you can hear highway sounds, as it is right off highway 54. The sites are pretty spread out comparatively. You can hear many different kind of birds singing, including woodpeckers. No mosquitoes so far. The ground is very rocky and it would be hard to tent camp. Had a visit from a raccoon in the middle of the night. His name is Kevin and they say he’s friendly.

Very nice cabin. The kids really enjoyed staying at moose cabin. They played outdoor bowling, chess, and in the game room a variety of games.

Uneven spots, roads with large ruts and in desperate need of some maintenance. Highway noise at night. Good location. Nice folks.

Very nice park! Very quiet and the regular there are super nice! But if you need flat land to walk around then this is more of hiking koa! Make sure you have car to site see I heard the lake is beautiful. The showers could used more pressure! Thats for sure!
