This place is great. The park was well groomed the bathrooms in excellent condition and clean. The owners were on site and very eager to assist in any way. The pool here is amazing. The roads were better than expected and I am amazed at the number of water front spaces they have. Will absolutely be returning here many many times.

I was going to give them a 5 but after the phone call I just got they get a1. Manager just called me and accused us of having a dog in one of our cabins that we rented for the weekend. Staff told her that the cabin was full of dog hair and fleas. Animals are not allowed in the cabins so all animals were left at home with dog sitters. There were several people with dogs and everyone knows that you can pick up fleas from the grass. So now my account is flagged. We were planning to go again this summer and more next summer but not anymore. I'll spend my 500.00 plus dollars and go somewhere else.
Upset customer.

We stayed during memorial day weekend. Thurs-Mon. We had pre booked and paid, were not given a choice on sites and didn't know what to expect besides electric and water. When we arrived Thursday our site had not been weedwacked in what seemed to be weeks. The only flat spot was a gravel parking spot which needed more gravel. We did not have a fire ring. The water and electric hookups are literally back to back touching eachother which to me is a risk. Staff was helpful in bringing a fire ring and quick to weedeat. The only bathroom I saw besides the one in the pool seemed new. About a 3 minute walk from our sites. However 2 Porta potties placed right next to it when they could have been moved somewhere else more effective. Bathrooms (5 rooms) were literally just a light, toilet, toilet paper (if you're lucky) and a sink. Ironically the bathroom signs say please wash your hands but yet none of them have soap, sanitizer, paper towels or trash baskets. Pool is large but is in need of maintenance. Concrete chunks found all over the bottom. The "amenities" forget about it. Baseball diamond is literally a 3 ft tall grass field. Playground? Non existent. Bring a kayak? Sorry $10/day to put it on one of their ponds.

I think the new owners are trying but are missing the head of the nail. The staff we had met was friendly. Girl that checked us in however was not familiar with the procedures and gave us some wrong information. And overall false advertisement; Lake: Ponds Paradise: Meh Resort: Campground. Wish them luck as they try to rejuvenate their property.

Private roads need some attention.like a lot. Swimming pool was a nice amenity, needs some work on pool bottom, still nice to have it close. Everything was decently priced and beautiful scenery!

That campground has a lot of potential but the owners are extremely lazy and unorganized. Roads are terrible, no maintenance when it comes to anything and they try to random charge for propane so don’t let them automatically pull from your account. They also tried to charge me $350 even though I was paid full until the next month so they actually owed me. Owners was absolutely awful.

Pros: Very large clean pool, several camping spots, clean restrooms, very nice staff, lots of things to do. Cons: office hours aka when you can do things (11a-5p) most places are open 7a-10p. You only get 2 pool passes when you pay to camp (I feel it should be at least 4).

Over 500 camp site. From full hook up to basic tent camping. One of the largest pools in state of Missouri. Built into the lake. Very assume. Fishing in stocked lakes. All private owned. Great place close to Kansas city

I love this place! The old owner didn't take care of the property. The new owners are working hard to provide a clean, fun, and beautiful place. You can choose to be remote and away from everyone or be in the mix and get to know your neighbors. I have no complaints here. I try to come camp as much as I can in peak season. I look forward to many years of memories. Oh and don't forget some of the best sunrises and sunsets you've ever seen on the lake!

Stayed for a labor day weekend with my husband and the fireworks show was amazing. I would recommend this place to camp and I'm telling all my friends to check it out!

Cabin camping was nice although a little cramped difficult accessibility for handicapped. Pool closed at 7, that was sad for us. Should've stayed open later.

We didn't actual stay here. We were meeting a lady to look at her camper for sale. She pays rent to store it there but does not have access to open the gate to get to her camper. Website says they were open with closing at 6pm. No one was in the office and they never answered the phone. Spent an hour looking for the maintenance guy to open the gate. Roads are gravel and dug out, not friendly for pulling your camper. Found 1 outhouse to use and the toilet seat was half way in the toilet. You couldn't pay me to stay here, ever.

Lots of trees; spacious tent sites and its really pretty out here. We have an electric and water hookup which is nice for tent areas…. Only negative is there’s some RVers nearby playing music and talking loudly…quiet hours not being respected. Hope they wrap up soon.

Ok so I had a review on here from 2 years ago when the old owner was there and how horrible it was I will say this we stayed there tent camping over the weekend this labor day and it was so much better than 2 years ago so much better. However it is still a work in progress which of course is most definitely expected. We will be back and we will be watching the progress of this wonderful campground! Thank you Lake Paradise for a wonderful weekend!

Just had my bachelor party here this last weekend and it was worth every single penny spent. We rented out all the cabins and two tent spots and we had complete privacy. Other campers (when we did seem them) were super friendly and always waved. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cabins were fairly clean. Small but more than enough space. One complaint we did have was there were no towels, blankets, or handsoap. So when coming to these cabins make sure to bring those. Other than that I just had one of the best weekends of my life at Lake Paradise Resort. Me and my friends are actually going to make this a yearly tradition. Also the pool was pretty dope.

Always a great experience here. Super awesome staff, camping is clean, quiet at night.we had an issue with our camper, and within 10 min we had owner and staff here to solve the problem, which was due to our own error. Check it out. Won’t be disappointed. We will be back again next month

The pool is hotter then bath water. The whole place smells like a septic tank. Really nothing special at all. Not even worth one visit
