Lake Shore Apartments, Springfield MO

Lived there for 2 years and have nothing but good to say! Management is very upfront about contract. Rules of the complex ensure it is clean environment and pleasant to the eye. Maintenance is quick to address problems with up-to-date messages on when it is assigned and complete. Ample dumpsters. Walking trail around lake is nice. Wildlife is fun. My 2 bedroom had enormous closet space in both rooms. Security presence made me feel safe. Highly recommend.

Terrible place to live. They do not maintain the building. It is actually falling apart in some places. Maintenance never fixes anything properly the first time, you always have to make them come back at least once again and sometimes more. You have to pay out the nose to get out of that place (won’t say it wasn’t worth it though) then they nickel and dime you after you move for things that aren’t correct/true. Terrible place, terrible people.

After renewing our lease for a second year at Lakeshore, I can certainly say we love it here! We just transferred to a larger apartment after living in a 1x1 for a year, and it was spotless and newly refreshed before move in! Our moving process truly could not have gone smoother.
The property is in great condition, the office staff is helpful and efficient, and maintenance is always there asap after submitting a request. We have loved all of the friendly faces and sweet pups we've met throughout the community!

I have friends and family that have lived at this property for years. The grounds are always maintained. Jesse and Shelby are always so friendly and attentive. If your looking for your forever home, look no further.

I absolutely love the office people. The apartments are very nice and clean. I love that they let you have your pets there with you. Just the best experience with apartments. Period. Keep up the great work y'all!

Living at Lakeshore Village Apartments is the best rental experience I have ever had. The grounds are impeccable, with the Manager, Jesse's, special touches. He also designs all the clubhouse and interior areas with decorative appeal.
The staff are friendly and helpful and give everyone smiles when they enter.
Maintenance problems are attended to immediately and the crew are polite and efficient.
I couldn't ask for a nicer place to reside.
Anyone would enjoy the amenities offered.
I'm thankful to the employees that make my days happy and easy.

Lake Shore is only getting better! The management is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are quick to address any issues to ensure a great experience for anyone. They continue to do updates and have their residents best interest at the top of their priority list. Highly recommended giving them a chance in your apartment search!

My daughter started grad school two years ago in Springfield and we looked at multiple apartment complexes before deciding on Lakeshore Apartments. I’m so thankful for the safe, clean and well maintained complex. Made this mom feel good knowing my daughter being 6 hours away was in a great place!

I tried to be a responsible, careful and clean tenant! All payments were paid on time, I received the apartment not in the best condition, but I did a general cleaning, I even painted it. I gave them the keys to the apartment ahead of time, I left the apartment cleaner than when I received it. I paid the rent until the next tenant and the termination fee, wasn't that enough? Today I find out that I have to pay $276 (rent fee until a new move), why? I paid the 1035 termination fee. Where in the contract is this fee indicated? At the office, no one explained!

Since the arrival of the new manager, Jesse, I feel like I really do live in luxury apartments! All the things we have asked to be tended to for the last few years are now being done from removing dead trees, taking care of the landscaping, replacing burned out lights, removing an abandoned car, updating the gym, and getting trained people to take care of the pool! My favorite! I’m sure this is only the beginning. We sure appreciate the work being done to make this place our home!

I do not like to leave reviews but feel this one is needed. I have lived here for quite some time, and have absolutely loved it. The old office staff was good, and the maintenance team is great. Problem is, the current office staff is not so great. When i say they are renting to everyone, they are renting to EVERYONE. NO way are half these people qualifying to move in here. I understand you are trying to cushion the owners pockets by keeping it rented, but come on, you are running your good renters out. All anyone has to do is drive through here, and look at the cars, some of which don't even have plates, and the sketch people walking around to verify my review. Myself and several people i have met over here are not going to be resigning our leases. Why pay this much money and not even feel safe in your own home because they are letting who knows who in here. Whoever is above the so called manager needs to audit the books, because i guarantee a ton of these people should not be here. I am also convinced that these "good reviews" are from office staff and friends because most of them are laughable. Corporate, please check records of the people living here and put a stop to this! 3 times the rent to qualify? FUNNY. Do Better!

Its really nice place for the money. Very nice people all around here. Sweet little community. Quiet and cozy a nice place to call home.
