Lambert's Café reviews
36When I tried the rolls, I thought for sure that the other food be bussin, and it did not disappoint, very bussin
I would love to give this place five stars, but I ordered the shrimp and it was very mushy. The waitress was kind enough to take it off of my bill and I ended up with chicken strips which were delicious. I'll be back
This is a outstanding restaurant and a tourist attraction, there may be a wait to get in but it is truly worth it, so come hungry because you definitely will leave full.
Fun atmosphere but food was only mediocre at best. Don't buy the steaks, really bad fatty cuts.
Well you will leave so miserable but in a good way you will eat so much and the food is so good
Not a darn mask in sight, but we got in fast and the food is great! 50 minute wait and the parking lot is slam packed! Say what? !? 50 minutes, that's fast!
Most fun so far this year. Outstanding people and the kids are spot on staff, good job at having the right people for the right job! Well played!
Almost always a wait, but usually not more than half an hour. Summer is busier and wait can be longer. Clean and good service. If you don’t get the pass arounds you want all you have to do is ask your waiter/waitress and they will come over fairly quick.
We love the home of the thrown rolls.
If you leave hungry it’s your own fault. They bring lots of free sides to the table. There plates are huge skillets full of food
Over priced tourist trap. The food quality is poor to mediocre. I got the chicken because that is hard to mess up, but it was dry and stringy. We went as a group and they sat us in two booths across the aisle from each other. We ordered at the same time (two different waitresses) and one table got their food as the other was finishing up. Sure, they throw rolls at you if you can get the person's attention. Even the gift store is bland and trite. The fried okra, though, was excellent. Save your money. There are far better places to eat.
Was fun to visit, a nice place to go to every so often. Decent food, and you won't leave hungry. The cinnamon bun cart guy yelling every few minutes was a little much.
If you like country cooking, stop here! Come hungry. You not only get an oversized meal, but also unlimited pass around (fried okra, rolls, sorghum, blacked eyed peas, fried potatoes, and tomatoes w/macaroni). If you finish your food, you can get more sides or another of your entree for free (just can't take it home if you do this). Be prepared for a long wait. As in 2 hours. Your whole party has to be there for you to dine.
I've been here four or five times now, and have has a wonderful experience every time. The service is unseen anywhere else, and the food is spectacular as well. As always, stick around for the rolls! They're absolutely wonderful when fresh, but plan to eat them the same day or they get dry. I'm always amazed at how quickly they can move through the hoard of people waiting outside. I'm not sure I've ever waited more than an hour to eat here.
Food is great! Atmosphere is the best! Hot throwed rolls, awesome dishes with good pass alongs, friendly staff, good prices! Don't miss out on a great time that makes you drive 900 miles every year to experience! Love Lamberts! Hayden, our roll thrower was awesome! Very respectful young man who made our visit more memorable!
This place is awesome! The food is delicious! The pepper and salt doesn't come out fast enough. Its awful loud people talking and music going. The booth I was sitting at would pinch my butt every time the people behind me would move.ouch.other then that it was an experience. Bring your appetite and your wallet because you will want everything they dish out. Yum Yum
Have been going to Lamberts in Sikeston and Ozark for years. Knew Norman and Patty for years. I worked right next door to there restaurant in Sikeston.
It was our first experience and interesting. We came away very full! The good was scrumptious! The staff were all very nice and friendly!
This place is truly a great place to stop. We went 10 miles out of the way back home just to see and taste. Long lines did not deter us.
Great food bad music would rather listen to praise to our brown holy God and King so since just with Him again 88.5 KCMO to praise His holy, holy, holy
name
It was our 3rd Lambert's so now we have made them all. My food was a little cold but still good and they did offer me another meal but I was to full. Had fun catching the hot rolls
