Landmark Restaurant-- reviews
13Great service.due to work I had to leave before my meal today. When I was able to come back, fresh food was waiting on me at the table I had sat at. A1 5 star service. I can't say enough good things about them.
We were passing through today and decided to stop in for lunch. I had a cheeseburger which was hand partied and my daughter had the hand battered tenderloin sandwich. Ee shared some seasoned Suzy Qs and a peice is homemade chocolate pie with real meringue on top. It was absolutely delicious and only came to $15.00.
They are known for their pan fried chicken which is also scrumptious.
Fantastic comfort cooking at affordable prices. The fried chicken was excellent. They also have a large assortment of pies and plenty of side item choices.
I was late for biscuits and gravey so had meatloaf dinner was real good service was great would recommend it
Great food. WONDERFUL service in a quaint, old fashioned setting. Will definitely go again while traveling.
What a wonderful little diner in a quite town. Hometown feel and the staff is really friendly! The buns are fresh and the chicken is delicious. Highly recommend this place.
I just a basic burger and fry.i mean if you can't make one of those then you already have problems.will be back, it has a great small town feeling.and the town has a lot of rich history, should look into it.someone did have a open face roast beef that looked and smelled amazing even as far away as i was.
I ordered the chicken fried steak with butter corn and cheesy broccoli. The chicken had very little gravy and the breading lacked seasoning. The corn had the frozen texture or maybe overdone. The cheesy broccoli was broccoli with literally a slice of cheese over it. The highlight was the mashed potatoes, THE BEST I'VE HAD AT A RESTAURANT. Hence the three stars and not two. They seemed to take better care of the people that are from that area, but considering there is not much else in that area understandable I guess. I don't remember what the Greek seasoning was on the table called but I did try it and I must find it. Let me know if you know it. I'd probably wait till the next town over or before if I wanted to eat there again. Or stop at Casey's across the highway.
Today my bestie took me to the Landmark restaurant in Lowry City. The atmosphere, service and food was simply amazing. We were so pleased. We also took home a slice of their homemade banana cream pie. Talk about being yummy! Will most definitely be back and share with friends and family about how great
everything was.
The kind owner of this handed down family business is very dedicated in keeping the only cafe open in town. The menu is not big, but it has all the dishes you want and expect. The home cooking is very good and consistent. They offer home fried chicken twice a week and it's delicious! They also have homemade pies every day! Try it out and you won't be disappointed!
We had great food and service at the landmark. If we weren't so full, we would have tried some pie. Maybe next time. While there, make sure to pick up a copy of the local newspaper, 'The Missouri Chigger'.
