Le Bao Asian Eatery reviews
16I love going to Le Bao for comfort food. The steamed buns are so amazing! I like the ramen as well. They have vegan options which makes this a household favorite for my family. Sometimes the food can be arranged in a sloppy way, but other than that I have always eaten everything I ordered and enjoyed it. The restaurant can get busy which increases wait times but that's okay with me for good food. I try to keep up to date with their hours on social media, but recently they were closed for July 4th and didn't post anywhere that information (including the front door). I really love that it's right next to ACOLA and you can work there and then go over to Le Bao when you get hungry.
Had take out.
Order was available quickly.
I got the spicy chicken ramen with rice noodles - dish is spiiiiicy - and a curry bao. They weren’t perfect for me, but they were perfect for my husband. I’d go back and try something different,
Went in with a friend for some Ramen. A very delicious place to eat with generous portions. I recommend the classic with an extra egg and chili oil.
I always get the gyoza and pork ramen and it always, ALWAYS, hits i love this place so much
Le Bao is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The food is always fabulous. I have not found a meal I haven’t liked. My personally favorite is the nachos with pork, and the bbq pulled pork bao. I cannot recommend enough!
Ramen was mediocre, but everything else was fire! The wonton tacos, bulgogi bao, and steamed buns were off the charts! Get your raman at Ocha, get your bao here!
The atmosphere was nice. It was standard service. The food was really good. I would recommend getting the pulled pork bao and the fried chicken bun
I’ve been here 3-4 times. They are always polite and more than willing to help you. The food is to die for. So many options and i still haven't found Anything i don’t like.
I dont know what has changed here recently but I was met by a very rude guy at the counter. It's 3: 00pm on a Friday and I wanted soup. The guys was short, argumentative and was obviously not prepared to see a customer walk in the door during his downtime (phone usage). I said good bye and left.
It's such a shame because this is normally a very good place to visit.
Loved it. The food was amazing (got the dinner pack)
Ramen had great flavor and nice presentation.
The nachos were a pleasant surprise, much better than I could've imagine and the little Korean style cinnamon pancake was very delicious, it was like going back to Korea for a bit! I would definitely go back
Amazingly tasty food! Great service and staff! Love the atmosphere! Will be coming back forsure!
Le Bao was a wonderful dining experience. Brace yourself for the mouthwatering veggie curry bao, a delicious concoction of curry-infused vegetables encased in a soft, pillowy wrap. It's like biting into a vegetable samosa masterpiece! The Kim Chee is a fiery sensation, with the perfect balance of heat without overwhelming saltiness or excessive sourness. Trust me, finding good Kim Chee is no easy feat, but Le Bao nailed it. Don't miss the tantalizing tofu steak bun and delectable vegetable gyozas, each bite packed with delightful flavors. Located just a block away from Columbia University, this rare spot is a must-visit.
I've eaten at Le Bao several times and every time has been a wonderful food experience. The ramen is huge, the Bao dough is so good. The fillings are well seasoned. The staff are fun and the building is beautiful.
The food is amazing, just needs more dining space. Takes a while to get your order but worth it.
I’m Japanese who has high standards for Ramen, and I can say this place actually serves what I would call Ramen!
Ramen broth and pork (Chāsyū) were very good.
The only thing that I would like to mention was the noodles. The noodles were a little bit too soft for me, which most people here in the states would prefer in the noodles. Based on the texture, I assumed they were using store-bought noodles.
Please don’t ask customers to tip even before receiving service, especially I get utensils and drink by myself.
