Communication is terrible. Good luck getting an appointment, if you do I hope the medication works cause if it doesn’t you might not get to schedule another appointment (no one answers or returns calls). Originally I thought it was just the receptionist and nurses that didn’t return a phone call but my granddaughter was sent last Friday for a chest x-ray and no one from LS Pediatrics office has followed up with me.

Only reason we chose to come here over children's mercy is because it's too long of a drive. The people who work here are some true skanks. All of their attitudes are terrible you could walk in being just as happy and it's like they intentionally want to knock it down. I scheduled an appointment for all four of my kids (separate dates) and the lady who scheduled them were new I didn't know they were minutes apart. So we ended up being 20 minutes early for one and literally 3 late for the other and I guess that upsets them because they have to stay overtime but whatever. If y'all don't like your jobs get a new one losers even the doctor didn't understand why they're so serious!

We are switching pediatricians due to lack of communication and professionalism from the front desk staff. They do not communicate if your child is behind on vaccinations instead believe that a piece of paper with a “proposed/example ” schedule is best practice. They charge to provide medical records. Just not the positive experience you expect in your child’s time of need.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Head the reviews. HORRIBLE front desk staff. 3+ weeks for a call back. If you need them directly on the phone you need to call multiple times. They will not tell you where to go for tests and will not follow up with you about them. I used to love this office because of catelyn but it's all turned to garbage. We've had to give our insurince information 4 different times this year alone.

If I could give 0 stars to both offices I would. HORRIBLE doctors office. Love to play games on the phone, they love drama, treating parents & patients like garbage. This is the worst doctors office for kids in the state of Missouri.before you have your baby, make their doctors office ANYWHERE but independence/lees summit Pediactrics. Their office needs to be shut down.

Both lees summit locations have very poor service. We waited over an hour and a half to be seen in the urgent care. Wait on average 20 minutes to speak with anyone on the phone. Staff friendly however this practice is very poorly run and severely understaffed. Feel they would benefit from some senior management intervention to help this practice run more smoothly. Very disappointed

I have never had a doctors office not answer the phones. I call and call and call and always get the voicemail. I leave messages to schedule an appointment and never get calls back. They used to answer but since about August I have had trouble reaching anyone in the office. Also they prescribed a medication for my child, but the medication was unavailable. The pharmacy requested multiple times to their office to have it changed to something else and they never received a response. Needless to say I'm searching for a new pediatrician.

Rude staff in the front. Don’t answer their phone. Overbooked… you can’t get your kids seen in a reasonable amount of time. I made an appointment for 9. Showed up and was told my appointment was at 11. I know for a fact I wouldn’t have made an 11 appointment due to scheduling conflicts at that time. I’ll be finding a new pediatrician

My child had an appointment at 8am. It is going on 815 and the building is still locked and dark. Noone has even made it to work. Literally made this appointment this early to get him in BEFORE I work. And we are sitting outside an empty building.

My littlest has had numerous sick visits this year due to just starting at daycare after being home for the first 1.5 years and we have been seen by other staff that are not his normal pediatrician (Caitlin Sunderman) and we have had an excellent experience with everyone that works here! Highly recommend!

I've been taking my 3 children here for 3 years. The first two years with them was great, no problems. This year was a deep decline of problems. Not sure what happen, but I'm done taking my children here. One of my children has ADHD. We use to go there very 3 months, to check her med stats. Plus if you need a refill, you just call and they send it to your pharmacy. Now it's every two months and you have to use the patient portal. Which that site is a chaos of a mess. I called my pharmacy to see if her meds are ready. No, took them 3 days to send it over. Went to pick them up and they sent the wrong milligrams over and another medication she doesn't take anymore. Of course I had to wait two days to call them, cause it was the weekend. Called them Monday and explained which one she is taking. Person sounded promising on sending the right one that day. Called my pharmacy the 5th time in a week, to see if it was ready and the right one. NO! They sent different brand of ADHD medication, one she never taking before. How can you mess up someone's medication, when they have be taking it for years and it's on your files.

The only good thing here, is Dr. Harris. Very care giving man. Always made my children smile before we leave.

Would like to thank the medical staff there for working so hard during this difficult period.

The nurse practitioner was amazing and she listened to all our concerns and answered all our questions. The only thing I did not like was the long check in time going past the appointment times but I can understand with all the paperwork you have to fill out. Definitely recommend showing up an hour early if you are a new patient.

I wish I could give no stars. Very prejudice. Receptionist didnt ask for my id and medical insurance cards. Give me a sheet stating it was for insurance. First question Do you have a job? If not would you like resource to get a job. Next question do you have food? If you dont hav food do you need resources to get food. Everyone else was asked for insurance cards or if there info was the same. This was my first time there. I know the protocol. See MY BUSINESS IS IN INSURANCE and its illegal for a insurance company to ask these questions. Welfare ask these questions not insurance company. They give my 13 year old a sheet asking has she done drugs and all type of questions assuming she is a drug user. No, its insulting. All black people aren't down and out. You can look at me and tell I don't need assistance as she put it, but to ignore me and insult me by assuming.

Every Dr is really nice all 3 children are seen at this location. The Dr actually take the time to listen and answer any questions you may have they don't just rush you out of the room. Always a great experience.

Had a great experience with Dr. Liz and one of her med students. Taking my daughter in as a new patient, she felt very comfortable. They were very informative and covered all my concerns and more. All the people in the office were very personable and accomodating!
