Lee's Summit Skate Park reviews
13Gets a little full in the evening but you can have it pretty much to yourself if you can make it in the AM. My favorite park around the area. Not really a beginner park more intermediate to advanced riders.
It's a fun park with good quarter pipes, flat land sections, and a miniramp. Though the concrete is cracking, and the paint is chipping away. It could use some love and upkeep.
Splashpad was fun, lots of little splishy splashy things for kids age 0-5. Older kids may not enjoy this splash park as much. Small kid play area on wood chips, music play area, and large spiderweb of ropes for bigger kids 7-18? And a Zipline. Shelter right next to splash pad so plenty of seating, plus shaded picnic square tables IN the splashpad area. I try to reserve those for the Mom's with super little kids. Overall, very nice park.
Great environment and good job with COVID! Would’ve liked if the ice got smoothed once in the middle of our session but that’s a small detail for me:) we had a fun date night!
Went ice skating here with my daughter and mom this evening and we had a great time! Friendly and helpful staff. They are also taking all precautions necessary for Covid-19 and are not lax at all on anyone not taking it seriously. That was very comforting. They also have these walker-like things I've never seen before for people to use for balance control and teach you the proper way to ice skate. And hey! It doesn't cost extra to use them! Just ask the staff and they'll get one and bring it out to the rink for you! Definitely will be coming back here for more fun in the future!
Park is very diverse. Very pretty. I would rate it 5 stars but getting threatened with physical violence for following covid mandate and wearing a mask spoiled the experience
Fun park. Poster boy is on the front door. So, why not get a picture of him standing in front of the door that has him and his mother on it.
It's not a bad starter park. Designed for skaters and cyclists, but more for cyclists. Still a great start for LS.
Zamboni down. Will be charging for debit/credit card fees beginning February. Nice idea but expensive and I'm a resident.
It's soooo freaking cool. There's a super steep halfpipe that's separate from the rest of the park, and the street section isn't too elaborate, but the flow section is a killer spot to practice the tricks I really like doing. I'll definitely come back here as often as possible.
Pretty good people. My daughter loves going and learning. Sometimes you may hear cussing, but that is kind of understandable after a painful fall.
The whole complex is stellar and the lights stay on until eleven! There are pickleball courts, volleyball courts, and best of all a kickass skatepark! The flow is super steezy and you can pump around the bowl for super air!
This is one of the best, fun, and spaced/biggest skateparks i have been to, and i love it. There are many areas of the park that you could get great clips and vids. Plus its just a great place to go.
