Josh called ahead before he came out like I had requested. He fixed my problem very quickly. He was the nicest most pleasant person to deal with.

I can’t thank Joe at Lee’s Summit Water Utilities enough for his help resolving our issue. Very professional, responsive, kind, just plain pleasant to work with. His team of field technicians are awesome. I believe my husband said the tech’s name is Josh and truly a pleasure to speak with and able to assess the issue quickly for Joe. Wow! Under stressful conditions Joe took a lot of pressure off us and made a common sense decision. Great group of guys! Thanks again. You are the BEST!

I have never missed a payment. Accidently forgot to pay one month. Was past due 3 weeks unknowingly and they shut off my water. To turn it back on it cost $100 even after paying the bill before the shut off date. Said they didn't receive our payment so we had to double pay to get it turned on. Huge scam.

I'm a landlord that has a few units in Lees Summit. I filled out and faxed a revert to landlord form to the water deparment, when we were renovating two units last summer. When we went to work, one unit had the water turned off, so we called again. It took days to get it turned on, but that's not the best part. I got bills for the two units, that I paid by check after receiving a bill via snail mail. Here's the kicker, the Water Department started charging a charge card we had on file for the other tenants. When we went to do our taxes, and reconcilled those charges we figured out, the Water Department was giving the other tenants their water on my tab, and when I called the office to figure it out, they acted like it was a privacy violation to tell me what I was getting billed for. It took months for them to stop charging me and they are totally unwilling to pay back interest on about $1100 of charges in error over 9 months. The manager of the department is extremely un-responsive, and I had to contact the assistant City Manager to get anything done. The turnover in this department is legendary. Managers at many levels in the department and City Leadership need to have their heads roll.

LS water is very responsive when calling about an issue. People are mad they turn off water when you don’t pay or forget to pay, it takes months of non payment before they shut you off!

If I can give them zero stars I would. They came and shut my water off a day before it was due for $90 I called LSW and without verification he said u due to be cut off im like the date isnt for another 2 days he said no its today i asked will how much. ONLY then did he ask for my information to lookup my bill. Im thinking HOW WOULD U KNOW IF IM DUE FOR A CUT OFF IF U DONT KNOW WHO I AM. SHM. I immediately less then 5 mins later paid $100. Afraid and ashamed I placed my bill on autopay just like they pretty much want u to. They charged my account an additional $188 when my bill should have been $88. I hope I get me money back cause this is why I don't autopay or rude humans.

I just got back off of vacation came home on Friday night no water. Called the number it was the Fire Dept.dispatch
told me i would have wait till Monday to get turn back on. I only been here for few month i though i set up too have my bill put on my credit card, i guess not, I told them i pay who ever came out to turn it back on and pay a fine. Told to wait till Monday Great Service BIG ZERO For a star.

Bill went from $50 to $130 in one month. What is going on? Anybody else having issues? In the last four years, I have never paid over $60 for a water bill. My January bill was taken out of my checking account and noticed it was $130:/

Forgot to pay a bill and they shut my water off without notice. I tried calling and no one ever answers. No customer service. Paid my bill online and have no clue when I’ll have water back on. Not sure how much worse a water company can get.
