Legacy Meats, Verona MO

DO NOT TAKE YOUR HOGS OR CATTLE TO LEGACY MEATS TO PROCESS. THEY WILL SKIM MEAT FROM YOU! I took 2 hogs there for my 1st time. They each weighed well over 300lbs. They reported hanging weight at 122lbs & 127lbs. The amount of meat I got back sickening. I guess I am supplying some of the meat that they sell out of their shop. I called and someone was to call me back and that did not happen either. Be the last time I ever take anything there. BEWARE!

They didn't keep my meat at the proper temp (by their own admission), and every single package of my beef causes mild food poisoning as a result. Also the hamburger is such a gummy texture from over processing.

Great owner. They go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. And their product is quality. You can count on it.

Drove all the way over for a good tbone cut becuse I was told they was the best and I was rong tbone cuts were horrible they cut all the good meat out of it

I purchased a 1/2 beef from an individual who uses this processor. I have purchased this amount many times and there is NO WAY what I received was even near a 1/2. I have a five cu ft.freezer and it didn't come close to filling it. I informed the seller and detailed each package we received. She confirmed that we did not get the weight of what would be a 1/2. And of course this processor has no idea Very frustrating and extremely disappointing.

Love this store its so clean and the men are so nice. They are very helpful and will to talk to you. It's a joy to see the men so willing to help ya. The price of the meat is good plus the meat is so so good will continue to buy my meat from here.

Everything sold here is amazing! 10/10 for the brisket, bratwurst, burgers, ribs, and summer sausage. I haven't tried the steaks yet, but that's on my list.

The men who run this are so good at what they do, from the quality of meat, how they treat you when you first walk in and last but not least their prices are so easy on my billfold. Thanks to all of you Godly men.

Nice polite friendly guys for sure! I bought 2 ribeyes and they charged me $17.99/lb. Seams a bit much when every other store I've been to charges $8.99. They got me doing that twice! I called to ask if they had possibly made a mistake when pricing and they said "No, that's our price". That beef wasn't any different than what I bought 10 miles down the road for half the price. And yes, I cooked the 8.99 steaks alongside the 17.99 ones and we couldn't tell a difference.
