Love the atmosphere and the fresh selection of pasta and special chefs items. Wonderful choices for wine and any special occasion. Great place for bringing out of town friends.

This spot is a highlight of our KC visit. We love watching Lidia on PBS and this restaurant was all that and more! Prices were extremely reasonable! Lidia needs to open a spot in Vegas. Food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch. Kenny, our server, has worked here seven years and that says so much about what a fabulous place this is.

Food is okay. Good deals but nothing to write home about in terms of authenticity of the food.

So this place is beautiful and the staff was kind… my Gnocchi was good and I got it with the Caesar salad but wanted the dressing on the side. My dressing came in two bowls one with like a paste and the other being an oil. So I mixed them together… it was okay. Normally ceases salads are my favorite but I wouldn’t get it here again. The lettuce was is really big pieces and the dressing was weird but maybe it’s because I mixed it myself. I also got the panna cotta for dessert and the ginger cookies were amazing and the panna cotta was so yummy. Sadly the nuts really needed to be toasted. They were just put on raw which just didn’t taste good with everything else. I got my dessert to go which is why it is in a to go container as for my gnocchi I forgot to take a picture before they packed it up.

A little disappointed. Drove from Springfield to take our mother there for her birthday. She loves Lidias cooking show and her cookbooks which she got another one for her birthday. Reservation was at 5: 00 pm. The service manager met us at the door and informed us that the restaurant didnt open until 5 and all but push us out the door. Said there was a private party and that was why the door was unlocked. We got there around 4: 40. Server was wonderful and attentive. The food was fair.manicotti noodles were overcooked and tough. The gnocchi was good. Best part of the meal was Ceasar salad and the Tarimisu. Again was disappointed considering the amount of money that was spent. Will probably not go back again.

Food wasn't awful, but it didn't come even close to the hype. Pass it up is my recommendation.

Waste of $100. Made reservations for my wife's birthday and had called to ensure a romantic setting at the table, regardless of any upcharge. After confirming this was possible, we had arrived to nothing set up what so ever, nothing acknowledging her birthday, and poor service. The food was fast food level at best and when expressed to our waitress, we were met with a smirk and the statement that "if there isn't actually anything wrong with the food then we can't do anything. " What a waste of time and a birthday celebration. Do not waste your time here. Lazia across the street is SIGNIFICANTLY better and can handle simple issues/ requests.

When you can't get Kansas City BBQ, this is the next best thing! The atmosphere and vibe were very chill, staff were very friendly, and the food was divine! It's Lidia's recipes after all that are the star of the show here.

We started with the polipo (octopus and potato salad) and risotto pomodoro. For the entrees we went for the classics, I got the pollo al limone (chicken with lemon and capers) and my friend got the grilled salmon. We were too full for dessert, sadly. All the more reason to come back!

The food and service were amazing. We loved everything we got. This was our first time here, and I was expecting a pricy menu, but it was surprisingly reasonable. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because the place did feel a bit crowded and laud, but that is to be expected on a Saturday evening.

Best Italian we’ve had in a long time! Service was excellent! Jake is awesome, and not even from state farm. Food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

What's my daughter's 13th birthday yesterday and we always come to this restaurant to celebrate.
The food was placed in the wrong places for 3 people.
One of the wait staff swore at my sister.
Noone made it special for her in the restaurant. There is nothing special done for birthdays? !
Not sure what to think about all this. Used to work here when I was 19. I am now 43 and wow it has changed. Even in the last couple years. Maybe Lidia needs to come to town more? Idk. Wish it was worth the $280 spent there last night.

Food is always great! I believe in giving people their flowers whenever I can and Mojo you are the absolute best! Thank you for making Shawn’s birthday so special! Until next time!

Noodles were salty and gritty due to an over abundance of pepper. Won't go back for the price. I can make sandy noodles devoid of flavor at home.

Some of the best food we've ever had! I requested a modified entree and there was absolutely no problem and it was delicious! My one reason for 4 stars for atmosphere is that it was incredibly loud and our table was very small. I appreciate maximizing table space but I would have appreciated a little more room. We will be returning on a slower night of the week. A $38 wine list! Genius! Good food doesn't have to be expensive and Italian food should be something everyone can approach. Well done! Beautiful decor! Our server was beyond sweet. Probably the best espresso martini I've ever had!

Ten out of ten out of ten ten thousand times! Some of the best food Kansas City has to offer. Our server Andy was friendly and well acquainted with the menu, as well as the food being out of this world delicious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting!

My husband and I traveled from Arkansas and this was one of the places we have been dying to try. Tonight's dinner exceeded our expectations! Our server Anna was very attentive to our needs and kept our drinks filled. We each had the 3 course pasta trio sampler and boy was it delicious! The Cesar salad was great as was all 3 samples of homemade pasta dishes. The pasta is unlimited refills but we could not even finish the first portion! The deserts were also phenomenal! I ordered the Panna cotta and my husband ordered the Tiramasu so we could each try both. I will have to say if we ever venture back to KC we will definitely return for another meal. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary!

I'm Italian and normally do not like to eat at Italian restaurants because I can get it better at home. But, this place was "molto bene" I'll be coming back. Definitely worth checking out

Prosciutto appetizer was mouth watering, best ceasar ever and Delicious pasta and sauces on the trio. My son loved his gnocchi with duck sauce and my husband loved his Italian sausage and meatball Bolognese. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Very good food and service and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend and will go again.
