I have talked to these guys at Lighthouse. They're a great bunch of guys & they have quite a few used cars that are in great condition. I also deliver auto parts to them. I can recommend these guys!

Sam is a great guy to interact with, our experience with everyone at the dealership was low stress and comfortable. The vehicles on the lot are a great price and in great condition. Sam is kind, knowledgeable, and obviously cares a lot about his company. Highly recommend.

BEWARE: I bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them about 5 months ago and since I bought it, there has been nothing but problems. When I first signed the contract, I was excited because I finally got the car I wanted, but that quickly turned into disappointment. The truck needed some work done, thankfully Sam was kind enough to allow me to use another vehicle on his lot for the time being. About 2 weeks later, Sam called and told me the Jeep was ready for pickup. Not even a week later, I go out to start my car for work and it wouldn’t start. So I schedule a tow truck to come pick it up and take it back to their dealership to be worked on, again. After 3 weeks, a bunch of Uber rides, and a Turo rental and $1200 worth of repairs; Sam calls me to let me know I can come by to pick up the Jeep. Everything was going well; minus the AC not working and having to crank the car twice just to get it started, until about a week ago. When I noticed that my engine was making a weird noise and started idling rough and shaking while driving on the highway. So yesterday, I took it to Firestone to have it looked at. Firestone informed me that they couldn’t work on it and more than likely I would need to have the engine taken apart and possibly rebuilt. This whole situation has been nothing but a complete disaster and headache. This is not to bash or talk bad about Lighthouse automotive, I’m just sharing my experience with them.

Spoke with a salesperson on the phone, he was very rude and very short with me. Gave me little to no information, then hung up in my face when i asked what the requirements were for a co-signer.

Car looked great online, when I saw the car in person it looked like they drove it through a field. Scratches, dents, and all tore up. I felt like the car was going to fall apart on the test drive. Salesman tried really hard to pressure me into buying it. Not a great experience

We bought our daughter a 2016 Audi Q5 from the guys at Lighthouse Automotive. I found them through a Google search and had no prior experience with them. I was very disappointed when I picked up the car. There were many issues that needed addressed. Hpwever, I contacted the owner, Sam, and we talked through them and he listened, and took notes. He took the car back and knocked out all the issues one by one. I just picked it back up today, and can now say I am a satisfied customer of theirs. Things happen in business and people make mistakes. I judge business on how they HANDLE the mistakes, and Sam and his boys (Anthony and Joe) handled it right, in my opinion. Trustworthy guys, and I recommend them! Good selection of cars, trucks, and SUVs too.

This dealership is excellent. I have purchased 2 vehicles though them, Sam provided outstanding customer service from the time I bought the vehicles to even two years later. They have fixed any issue or concern I have had with no problem and they have been very honest with everything. I will definitely recommend lighthouse to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

I had a great experience buying from here. The owner was very respectful and helpful. I am young woman and I brought my dad along to look at cars with me. Unlike most other dealerships that I went to, Sam talked to me the entire time instead of directing all questions to my dad. Because if this, I felt confident and comfortable with my purchase. I bought a 2014 Toyota Corolla and when I took it to the shop to get looked over after purchasing, the mechanic said it was in great shape apart from regular maintenance, like an oil change. I highly recommend.

By far, Lighthouse Automotive is the most dishonest business I have ever dealt with in my life. I totaled my car in an ice storm. I am disabled, and on a fixed income. I shopped online as I had very specific needs in a vehicle. Sam lied about the condition of the vehicle, failed to tell me about any defects, even when I asked. Told me the car was a “rare gem, in excellent condition”.
Instead, I got a vehicle that was in an accident, that was not disclosed. The front bumper is cracked, the front grill was missing, and instead of replacing the grill, plastic mesh was zip tied, holding the whole thing together. Sam pretended he had no idea. The front and rear bumper are damaged. The dual driver and passenger armrests were removed from the vehicle, leaving holes in both front seats! Deep scratches in the hood. I was told no scratches or dents, yet 14 scratches and 3 dents photographed by shipping company before loading. I would not sign off, and asked delivery company to return to seller. Dealer would not take back. Rims rusted out, car painted different shades, looks like a kid used spray can, clear coat missing in many areas, peeling off in other spots. Battery was refurbished, and wouldn’t hold a charge. I had to replace it. Car delivered with no fuel, not even enough gas to get to a station. Had to have fuel brought before I could even drive it. The tailpipe is bent.
The dealer tried to blame all the damage on the shipping company they hired. They told me to accept the damaged vehicle, and they would make everything right, and not leave me hanging. They said they would handle everything, getting the repairs made, contacting the shipper, finding a body shop, and making the shipper pay for everything.
The shipper had location, date and time stamped photos, and a detailed damage report, signed off on by Joseph, Sam’s son. First, Lighthouse denied signing off on any damages, then 48 hours later, their tune changed. They said they would not provide the missing armrests, missing front grill, and would not have any of the scratches repainted, or the clear coat fixed. I had not even moved the car since delivery, and I asked to return the vehicle, since it was clearly nothing like advertised. Several have suggested they may have used Photoshop to improve the look of the car, and clearly, they just neglected to photograph any areas damaged.
I paid a premium for a car that was supposed to be in excellent condition inside and out. The entire car needs to be repainted and clear coated, and 14 scratches and 3 dents repaired. The battery was refurbished, and had to be replaced. The tailpipe is bent, the 12 volt charging port on the center console is non functioning. I have not signed off on delivery confirmation to the dealer or shipper, as I didn’t get what I paid for. The shipper said they will back me up in court. They sent me the signed damage report, and photos of all damage prior to shipping.
Lighthouse has said they will not respond to my emails, will not provide missing parts, and will not address any of the undisclosed damages. They will not accept the car back, and they will not reimburse me. They will accept no responsibility for the fraud they have perpetuated.
