Lightning Pawn, Branson MO

I went in with 2 AR’s, a 223 and a 300 blackout…and anAR shotgun. Offered just over $600 for a pawn. I’ve never pawned before, but I know a rip-off when I hear one. I’ll never be back…for anything.

I didn't have much time to spend here as I wanted as it was getting close to closing time, but there is a huge selection here. No one greeted me when I came in, but they appeared to be busy and I can't really fault them for that. I will have to give them another try when I am in the area again.

I would never go back or do business there again. The owner has no respect for anyone especially if your a disabled veteran. They are crooks with a license. They lie and rip everyone off as much as they can.

Tried to buy an amplifier for my home studio. I’m well versed in my musical equipment and knew they had no idea what it was. You’d be lucky to sell one of these even online. I offered $70 the unit is worth $80. They said they could do $88. I said okay I’ll still take it. My credit card proceed to be declined. The cashier did absolutely nothing even tho I knew my card was good. As I was walking out a staff member said the credit card machine was down. They proceeded to let me walk out the door. Must have thought I was broke… I wonder why …

Coming from California these guys are 10 out of 10 good folks that have actual hearts. I APPRECIATE YOU LIGHTNING PAWN

Everytime I go in there, they all say hello and always have smiles on their faces. Great prices too. I sometimes have to take my laptop in and they take amazing care of it and my laptop is a rare one because its camo and Walmart only had them for a limited time. They remember their customers, maybe not by the names but by the faces and that is good.

Absolutely terrible experience every time I walk in this place. They want to charge you $3 for a piece of paper to get your pawn back. Prices are absolutely not very reasonable. Steer clear of this place.

Hands down the worst pawn shop in Branson, they underprice everything you try to sell them and anything they do buy they turn around and over charge for it just a bunch of scam artists under one roof, 10/10 would not recommend this pawn shop.

I would not recommend this place for anything. The bald guy the works in the pawn department, does not give correct info.

Had a great experience both times I've worked with them. I was able to trade my older guitar and an older amp for a pedal I've been on the search for. Super awesome of them.
Also got my firearm from here, fast, easy, and nothing seemed absurdly priced.

Good place to find cool stuff and they are negotiable on alot friendly people and customer friendly

Been doing business with these fellas for about 20yrs, and they've always been friendly, fair, and honest. And if ya got a clue what you're talking aboit, they can be lots of fun to haggle with.

Was struggling to pay my bills due to covid. They gave me a fair price on my guns and a reasonable monthly payment. Last year I bought a PS4 from them for a great price and it is still alive and kicking. Thank you Lightning Pawn!

Not so great. Staff was mediocre at best. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and so greedy they let a sale walk out the door over $5. Must be nice that in a time like this they are unwilling to bend a little for a local resident. I reccomend you try somewhere else first. I should've expected the greedy and arrogant nature. After all this is an establishment that feeds off of the misfortunes of this community.

The best pawn shop I've ever seen. Very nice folks. Lots of variety and they treat you fair. I had to get a pawn on my guitar for a couple weeks and they offered me TWICE what the other two places I checked had offered me. I'll always go to lightning pawn.

I thought you were good pawn shop but you are just a bunch of no-good Cheapskates you cheat people out of money and sell it for twice as much you took an xbox 1s 1tb hard drive payed me 80 for it and its for sale at almost 300 yall money hungry for sure. Wish i could rate 0 star i would.

Very well organized and staff are outstanding, however why would we buy USED merchandise for the same price as NEW merchandise, We come to a pawn shop to find a deal and lightning pawn can never deliver.for example they had a dewalt belt sander used and rough condition it was priced the same amount as a brand new dewalt belt sander at lowes, which one am I going to choose? I come in here often and NEVER buy anything because I can buy the exact same thing brand new for the same money. I'm a bargain shopper and lightning Pawn just doesnt have the bargains, now pawn shops in Springfield or harrison ALWAYS get my business they are willing to wheel and deal and there always willing to take my money.
