Li'l Rizzo's Restaurant - Lake Ozark reviews
15Wow! We ate in the restaurant one night and had wonderful cannelloni and manicotti, plus an awesome house salad! The waitress, Laura, was so friendly and provided excellent service. It was so good, we ordered a pizza and the house salad to go the next night and it was delicious, too! Would highly recommend this location of Lil Rizzo’s!
Macho Meat pizza was AWESOME. Not your traditional pizza, taste was amazing! Shrimp Alfredo was also amazing! Alfredo sauce was NOT your typical alfredo sauce, very creamy and delicious!
The overall experience here was horrible. The salads were soggy, as if they had been sitting for hours in dressing. The portions were small, overpriced, and lacked flavor. The server was not attentive and we did not receive refills. I highly recommend not visiting here, I sure will never go back.
Beware! I have an allergy to dairy products, so I asked multiple questions of the server because the restaurant was basically empty on a Saturday afternoon, a little after noontime. I always order a salad as I'm afraid of getting into dairy through cross-contamination. At first, I was going to get the house salad priced at $13.95, but it had no usual vegetables on it, only red peppers. I asked if I could get grilled chicken added, and she said yes. My friend didn't know yet what she wanted, so I decided to get the chef salad instead which listed roast beef, smoked turkey, and pastrami on it for the $13.95. When the waitress came back to get my friend's order, I told her I wished to get the chef salad instead, thinking it was safer for me and also a better buy. I asked if the waitress would make sure the meats were all dairy-free. She said that she would check. She never came back to tell me, so I assumed everything was OK. Meanwhile, a few more customers came in, were waited on, and even served before we got our salads. When our salads finally came out, there were two buttery rolls on top of my salad. I reminded the waitress of my dairy problem, so she whisked away the salad. When she returns a couple minutes later (grilled chicken in 2 minutes?), the rolls are removed, and I am served the original salad with grilled chicken, not the salad that I ended up ordering. Because my friend already felt funny eating before me, I didn't make a big issue of the error. When the waitress finally checked back with us, i informed her that I was given the wrong salad. She admitted that she had messed up the order but didn't even offer to correct it. I also inquired if the chicken had dairy on it as the top was not just charred, it had a golden brown hue and spices on it; she said no, just grilled. When I received my bill, I was charged for the wrong salad $13.95 + $5 for the chicken I didn't order. I should have only been charged for the one I ordered and should not have been charged the extra $5 for her mistake. On top of this errror, I know I got into dairy from the grill as my system has had the usual reaction that dairy gives me which lasts for four days and is very uncomfortable. This was my first and LAST TIME eating here. (Also, the lettuce used is from a bag as you can taste it.) Not a place I would recommend!
Loved the food. The Lasagna is amazing. Pizza was good too. Service was great, no complaints.
Service was great! Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. Their thin crust pizza was outstanding
Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had! The Alfredo sauce is so creamy and good. And the ciabatta rolls? Def get the order of extra ciabatta rolls!
Good food, great prices and friendly staff. You can't ask for any more. Tried the chicken Parm lightly breaded, angel hair and salad all we're done perfectly.
My family and I were staying at the Lake of the Ozarks when we discovered this Great restaurant!
Food was bland and the atmosphere was too Alfredo thick was good but not the best chicken parm was little cold but good also 4$ for one meatball originally 8 ya no
Stephanie our server was amazing. All the servers were working so hard and she noticed after sitting at our table at least 15 min we were not helped yet. She came over and helped us although we were not her table. She had a positive attitude and was very quick with our meals. I loved my chicken modiga and my husband had the tortolinni. My daughter loves the kids cheese pizza. We will be going there again.
Just ok, pasta had some strange cold gloop of white sauce in the middle, fettuccine wasn’t great, salad rolls and Mac and cheese bites were good
We are from St. Louis where there are many big name pizza joints that we frequent, however Lil Rizzos takes the crown!
Disappointed.
Waited nearly 5 mins after being seated before a server greeted us and took drink orders.
Tried one entree, one appetizer and one side. Everything was bland, the chips for the appetizer were stale.
