Lindenwood Pub reviews
9 Super dead every time I go …
I went in at around 11: 30 and Stacey seemed mad and annoyed that we were even there. She made us drinks and everything was good but there are better bars in the area to go too.
It’s another great neighborhood bar where everybody usually knows everybody but you can still go in there and not know anyone and feel like you are a part of them. I only went there for drinks because it was late. It was nice to talk to a few people I’ve never talk to before and they were very interesting and very likable. I would suggest it to anybody.
Only frozen pizza for food.
It was a themed event. Or everyone decided to be 90 years old. The TV was even set to 80's college basketball. Place gives me a Bill Cosby type of vibe.
1 star because they allow smoking.
First experience in a dimly lit neighborhood bar. It just wasn't for me. The bartender was not rude, but not overly friendly either. I'm not a fan of cigarette smoke, and smoking is legal in bars in the county. I get it. But again, not for me. After a couple hours of discussing Baptist and Presbyterian Covenant Theology with my best friend, I realized the smokey air was burning my eyes and my lungs. I rated it 3/5 stars because it is fine for what it is - a serviceable neighborhood bar, but I have no interest in ever returning. But since it isn't my style I thought rating it 1/5 stars would be harsh.
Bartender wasnt around for 10 or so min when we arrived then she came out got drinks for other then still didnt say anything so we just said what we wanted. Then we finally got a drink and left. We weren't gonna stay and didn't. The 2 I went with go there all the time and they weren't happy either. Dont know if I will go back. Maybe a second try not sure.
Always a good time at Lindenwood Pub. Cold beer and friendly service and perfect Margaritas.
A cool st charles hole n the wall. Jess the bartender and some locals were awesome and friendly. Definitely will watch more hockey games there!
Lindenwood has a small regular crowd. Anytime day or night I find great company who are happy I came in.
Got one star, mainly because I was never allowed entry. Granted I did show up at 10: 28 p.m. Upon my arrival there was 4 people standing in the doorway talking as thought here was no care in the world. Being as they were blocking my entry into this establishment, I said, "Sooo, ya'll closed? " To which they all answered almost simultaneously "yeah". I didn't feel welcome at all. I just wanted to see if u could get in a game of pool real quick. But after the door blockade all stated that they were closed I decided against pushing the issue, even though I could see people having a seemingly good time still inside.
