Houston, we have a problem. This guy thinks he runs the place, in reality he’s ruining the game.ppl like him shouldn’t be allowed near a golf course. Absolute zero love for the game.

I visited your course with an out of town guest of mine and we were treated very well by Houston. He was courteous, professional and accommodating. We arrived early for our tee time and were allowed to tee off just a bit early which was greatly appreciated. I would hire three Houston’s if I could. Houston thanks for allowing us to experience a great outing at the Links of Dardene.

Enjoyed playing here. Grab some drinks and candy bars though. After 9 holes you are the farthest away from the clubhouse.

Judging by some of the comments it is painfully obvious that "HOUSTON. WE HAVE A PROBLEM ")

Don't ignore the reviews about the staff, is not worth it for such a mediocre course.

I'll never patronize this course again. Ownership better read these reviews about Houston or this course will go under soon. Dude is driving business away. On top of the fact that it's not a course worth anywhere near $60, you could simply drive 15 minutes further to play a far nicer course at Quarry at Crystal Springs for $5 more. And more importantly, you won't be treated like cattle trash while you're there.

I simply have to echo what everyone else has said. Houston, the pro shop manager, is a COLLOSAL PoS. I can't even call him a man so I'll say that this horrific excuse for a human being is on the most pathetic and desperate power trip of anyone I've ever met. He thinks it's okay to berate people for not showing up 15 minutes EARLY to a tee time. Our 4th member showed up at the tee time and checked in, and Houston (knowing that he was our 4th and was about to go to the tee box) walked out the back door to scream at us in front of another group and shout that we were "holding everyone up". As I tried to tell him to simply turn his heard 45 degrees and he would see our 4th, he cut me off and repeated his nonsensical shouting. He asked the group behind us loudly if they'd like to go ahead in front of us as I continued to try to outshout this D-bag that our 4th was standing feet from him and the other group wasn't all there yet either. Houston held us up with his temper tantrum more than anyone in our group did.

This wasn't even the worst part of this experience. It was 100 degrees out on a hot August heat wave of a day. Normally not the best day to play golf, but the water coolers were all completely empty throughout the entire course. I called Houston every 3 holes, as did the group behind me I was told (we had time to chat during our 5 hour round), asking him to fill up the water and every time he would not respond and then hang up. Completely disrespectful and childish hissy fit levels of attitude from this guy every single interaction. Do yourself a favor and play somewhere else, this place doesn't deserve to be rewarded for their bad behavior.

Houston, this part is just for you. You deserve to be fired more than anyone I've ever met. You are the worst person I've had the misfortune to interact with on a golf course, and this is the 3rd time this has happened of only the 5 times I've played here. Whatever power struggle problems you must clearly have at home need to be left at home, stop bringing your problems to work. It's pathetic.
