Lion's Choice, Lee's Summit MO

First time here. The food was ok. The dining area needed a bit more tending to. A bit pricy for what I got. Will keep trying it.

The real roast beef in 3 different types of cooked temperature makes their sandwiches the best. Need just a little more meat on them.

Veronica the assistance manager went out of the way to be kind. IT had been a rough evening elderly 90 year old parents. I had already been thru the drive thru once. She noticed and
then gave me a cookie My Dad loves the food and wants me to pick him up another. A huge shout out to Lions Choice and their caring, observant staff.

Amazing Italian beef sandwich. You can get it with regular or spicy Giardiniera. Make sure you order it with a side of au jus. If you eat inside they have au jus on tap, I kid you not. Lol.

Just can't get into this place. I've given it a handful of tries. Expensive and bland. Staff seems lax and uncaring. Nice try, STL.

My family loves Lions’s Choice! The food is always hot and delicious and the staff is friendly.

Beautiful restaurant! Service was alright. The chicken tender sandwich, fries, and dr.pepper was 10/10 would have again!

$4 for the smallest laughable portion of Mac and cheese (see photo) It was cold I had to microwave it, $5 for a half full, tiny cup of custard. Outrageously expensive for tiny portions. Also I ordered chocolate custard with Oreo and there is for some reason peppermint in it.
Very unfriendly drive through worker as well. Out of au jus. So wrong order, out of part of my order, tiny portions, cold portions.

Great place love the food. My favorite item on the menu is the French Dip with provel cheese. High recommend.

Got tea to go had mold on the top thank goodness I got a coke but who knows how clean the machine is.

I really, really want to like this place. I love roast beef. But the food is just really bland. It's never busy, which should be telling, but sometimes I don't want to wait so no line is appealing to me. Portions are small for what you pay.

We live chill and chill hot dogs and they have some pretty good chill. Their Salads are very good and fresh.

Edit: the GM was extremely nice and offered us a free meal after the first disaster of an experience we had. Only problem is the second time we went was way way worse. The employee taking our order didn't seem to believe we had a comped order. Somehow there's always 2 employees hanging out in the lobby doing nothing while the other employees struggle to get orders out. They messed up our order twice and we still didn't get all our food. In the meantime 2 different people came in from the drive-thru with errors on their orders.

The guy working there was very courteous but the 2 ladies were pretty rude.

At this point it's almost comedic how bad our experiences have been.

Never ever returning again.

Just a sad place.
They were extremely understaffed and visibly upset about it. I can't really blame them though, this reflects poorly on management.
No music playing, just awkward silence.
Floor hadn't been swept in days. Food and trash under every table.
Portion sizes were laughable. $30 for 2 adults and a child and we barely got any food.
I ate at Lions Choice in STL a few times and was so excited when they came to KC. But everytime we go to one out here it's just sad.
Probably won't ever go back.

Found a dark curly HAIR in our Mac'n'cheese they didn't even say sorry, they just asked if we wanted another one or something else. The sandwiches took forever to get and we were the only ones there. The meat was ice cold when we got them. Would never recommend this place to anyone!
