Liquor Land, Kansas City MO

I love this liquor store…i had great customer service from Sam.i appreciate his kindness as soon as we walked in and his attentiveness.he offered suggestions and we even had a little time to chat about some of our favorite drinks.all in all, one of the best liquor stores i’ve been to.thanks Sam!

Was looking for a hard to find liquor and after 3 tries, found what I was looking for here. Well stocked and very helpful service. I will be returning in the future.

Organized, neat clean. Great, friendly counter employee (she was assisting another customer, i overheard as i shopped, and was outstanding in her knowledge and recommendations).
I do agee with a prior post bourbon a big higher priced, but I am comparing to PA State Liquor Stores, so maybe not so bad.

Sam is absolutely awesome. So welcoming, very knowledgeable. I was in town for a concert and he helped me pick out the perfect things to pregame with.

Liquor Land has the best prices in Kansas City, MO. The store smells delicious. The owner was very nice and greeted everyone with a smile.

Small, expensive, dirty, not much selection. "The back room" is fully visible from the front, which is whatever, but it looks pretty ghetto. The clerk was nice, at least.

Super helpful staff, very kind. They also have a great selection of both liquor and mixers.

After shopping here for the first time, I'm really confused about all the positive reviews citing "best prices" and "great selection". The bourbon selection here is pitiful, and the prices range from high to outrageous. For example, a 750ml bottle of Ezra Brooks 99 was listed for $39.99, but you can pick up the same bottle less than 10 minutes away at Hy-Vee for $24.99.

So if you want bourbon, avoid this place unless you want to pay a markup of 30 to 70 percent. I made the unfortunate mistake of making a purchase before shopping around based on all the positive ratings here. I don't mind paying a little extra for convenience and great customer service, but this is beyond excessive.

Wonderful place to get some good priced liquor. Amazing service from workers, well recommended to come to.
