Our stay was fantastic! The lodge is beautiful and decorated so perfectly. Our room was one of the smaller ones, but it had a balcony, and it was very cozy inside. Extremely clean also. The best thing was breakfast! Each day the chef had something new and delicious. Even better was our server Vicky. She was wonderful, so friendly and easy to talk to. She made our morning special every single day. We stayed three days and three nights and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here. Each room has a theme and it’s decorated around that theme. All are wonderful. There is also a walking/hiking trail nearby. We wanted to walk it but never had the time. We did take a look at it and it looked like a great place to walk. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

The contactless check in was convenient and well thought out. The communication was excellent as they provided the key code entry and many other details in an email. They even followed up with a phone call when I did not reply. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was friendly.making us feel right at home. The lodge is right next door to an entrance to Grant's Trail, a wonderful, level paved walking/biking path through a lovely wooded area that leads to Grant's farm. The room was a bit smallish, but absolutely adequate and tastefully themed. It even had a 4 cup coffemaker (not one of the one cup wonders most hotel rooms have these days). It was a surprisingly quiet jewel just 10 miles (11 minute drive) from downtown St. Louis and it was free parking!

My husband and I both really enjoyed ourselves here. We sat outside on the swing in the evening, and enjoyed looking at the decor inside the lodge and in our room. We were very relaxed here. In the morning each of us had fresh fruit, 3 eggs, Bacon, hash browns, and split a pitcher of juice and a waffle. We plan to stay again in this safe, quaint hotel

Nice room. Should have opted for handicapped. Toilet was low and no grab bars. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was stellar!

This place is fantastic! It is so quiet, super clean and peaceful here. We were in town for a Cards game and Ill admit I was skeptical of it being a bb but I will stay here from now on. We had ZERO issues with anything. Loved it!

The venue, staff, food & vibe of The Lodge are second to none. We held a graduation party, along with booking all rooms for the event, over the weekend, and it exceeded all of our expectations in every way!

My husband and I spend our 5 year anniversary at the Washington suite. It’s was a very charming atmosphere with large bath tub. The breakfast was great. Very friendly staff. Our waitress Vicki was lovey and bubbly. The chef was jolly and very entertaining. Great customer service.

Wow! What a cool and unique place! The staff is super friendly and really made our stay as amazing as possible. We are doing a cross country road trip and wanted to try to stay in places other than you're cookie-cutter hotel. So glad we chose the Lodge at Grant's Trail. The rooms are all themed and decorated differently, so you get to choose which you want when you book. We stayed in Frontier, but had the opportunity to see all of the others during our stay! I particularly loved Washington, and Abe Lincoln on the third floor! Highly recommend!

We liked staying here. The check-in process was kinda confusing since the door was locked after the 4pm time but check-in started at 330. But after we got in the place was super homey and cozy. They have excellent service and places to walk around and sit outside or on the patio. Looks like a nice place to host small events too. Our room was nice and comfortable. Lastly breakfast was cooked to order and Vicki was so so kind!

The Lodge was absolutely magnificent in every way. My husband and I were lucky enough to stay in the Christmas Room for 4 nights and found everything beautifully decorated, extremely clean and very homey and quaint. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Vickie, our server, was a delight! She made us truly feel like family and Joe, our chef, was fantastic! I can’t wait to return.

I came here last weekend with my boyfriend for a little getaway, and it was AMAZING! The place is in a secluded spot, right off the highway which was perfect when we wanted to go into the city. We stayed in the Washington Room, which was beautiful and clean. The tub was of course a major plus! Breakfast was delicious and safety was clearly a number one priority at this place, which we really appreciated. We met the owners very briefly in the morning, and they were very kind. Overall we had an incredible time and I definitely see us coming back!

Stayed in the Mary Lincoln Room for an anniversary evening. Very nice that our room was ready 3-4 hours before standard check in. COVID made our stay a little surreal in that my wife and I were the only two people in the entire lodge until the morning. We enjoyed our time and stayed safe and sound. The Lodge is uniquely decorated.
Breakfast with eggs made to order at a time of our choosing.

We had our daughter's Halloween Wedding reception here in 2020. Despite the pandemic, everything was wonderful! They took all the necessary precautions. Denise was extremely pleasant and accommodating. She made all the details easy. We were able to decorate with few restrictions. The catered dinner from Orlando's was excellent! Our servers, Carol and Rob were very nice as well as Mark, our bartender. We ended up booking all of the rooms for the wedding party and were able to extend our celebration. The hot breakfast the next morning was also amazing. This place is so neat; it was the perfect setting for their reception and I know they just loved it!

The ambiance is perfect for the wedding reception I attended. The staff was very pleasant. My husband and I rented out the whole lodge for our wedding party and guests 14 years ago and I still have fond memories of our experience.
