Los Chimas Mexican Restaurant reviews
15 We almost passed this place up due to the fact we thought it was closed. The windows are darker so the open sign isn't the most noticable. I'm so glad we double checked!
Establishment was clean and roomy. We ate a bit later in the afternoon so we avoided the lunch rush, but there was still several customers in and out.
The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Our food came out quick and absolutely delicious! The shrimp tacos, were some of the best I've had.
We will definitely visit again, if in the area. Recommended!
Decent food poor service. Waited 45minutes for meal. More attention to carry out than dine in.
Fantastic food and HUGE portions that was reasonably priced. My first time to Marceline but will go back whenever in the area again. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff who took good care of our party of 7 in a timely manner. Clean, cheerful atmosphere.
While the food is good their customer service is poor. Sat a hot plate down in front of an infant who reached for it causing their hand to be burned before mom could stop it, no apologies given. Later ordered 2 tacos asking for onions - $1 per taco for onion! Guess times really have changed - too expensive to eat out so I’m better off at home!
This was a welcome surprise. I ended up in Marceline to visit the Walt Disney hometown museum. I was looking for a quick bite to eat and Mexican is always my go to.
Honestly being from Colorado, I grew up with great Mexican food so wasn't expecting a lot from this place. However I was incredibly surprised. These tacos were outstanding. The service was good. I would recommend stopping in here for a meal.
The tacos El pastor came with a soup that I hadn't had before. It seemed to have pinto beans, bacon and maybe even A little bit of hot dog. I can't be sure. But I will tell you that it was delicious and I would eat it again.
Best Mexican I’ve ever had! Would recommend!
The small town I’m from doesn’t know how to run a Mexican restaurant!
Traveled from Virginia to visit family and found this place. What a find! Lots of different items on the menu not found at other locations. Worth the trip up from Salisbury.
Ordered the beef nachos through door dash, and it got delivered raw when I called all they could say was that burger meet is sapose to be pink in the middle. So needless to say they never refunded the my money, and with a dordash fee I lost $18.00 on nachos that wasn't even good enough for my dogs.
Unique interpretations of classic dishes. High quality fresh ingredients. Much better than most small town Mexican restaurants. Very good food, clean dining room, good service. We’ll worth the short trip off the highway.
My experience here is great. I like the owner what they done here with the place and food. They have friendly service and a great atmosphere. Great authentic Mexican food I believe is served here it's like a cuisine of master mind of food never imagine for Mexican food before. Would highly recommend goto for Mexican food.
If you think all Mexican restaurants are the same, you haven't been to Los Chimas!
I ordered a Burrito Mexicano and I was shocked how vibrant the flavors were!
My wife got the tacos pastor. They were bursting with flavor! SO GOOD! Worth the trip all by itself. We will be back!
The restaurant was nice and clean. The service was good. The food was also very good. I would recommend eating there.
The Burrito Carne Asada & Pineapple margarita were delicious! Just 4 miles south of 36 & plenty of room for truck parking (purple on map) nearby.
Our family had such a delicious lunch at Los Chimas. The staff were very friendly and thoughtful and the environment was very clean with scents of the yummiest traditional Mexican food. Prices were reasonable for our party of 4. Also our portions were quite generous. This is a must stop during your travel adventure. You will not be disappointed.
