I love the food here. I always get the Camarones. The menu says it is served with white rice which is so fluffy and adds so much to this dish, but this last time and another time it is served with Spanish rice which hardens. Don't know if I need to ask for the white rice or what

If you want authentic Mexican food and authentic dips it's right across from Kauffman Performing Arts on Broadway you'll won't go home hungry

Quite possibly one of the best Mexican places I've ever been to. Food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, service was friendly. Its unfortunate that I'm visiting the area from out of state, otherwise I'd be a regular here!

Awesome food, best mexican chili in town! Burritos with cheese top and cheese and onion enchiladas are awesome.great atmosphere. Great cocktails.

Yesterday I was suffering badly from the heat - I work in a hot kitchen and my car has broken AC. I was about to pass out and had to pull over and stop in the nearest place to cool down. I am so grateful to the owner or manager who brought me ice water and helped me. I was on my way somewhere and did not have time to order food or other drinks but this business is run by good people and looks out for the community. Thank you so much and I am looking forward to stopping by to eat soon.

Maybe I should give 5, but it just isn't that kind of place. We got lunch specials. Food was very good, hot, and tasty with generous portions.

Stopped in for lunch, a few large table full and we were on and out in half hour. Food was excellent!

The 1st and last time we'll eat at Los Tules in KCMO! We had Huevos Rancheros and Enchiladas. Needless to say our lunch was very disappointing! I've had better Mexican food down the dark, back allies of Tijuana! I guess since we've both had the best of authentic Mexican food from Southern California, Baja California and Jalisco that few places even come close!

Good prices, good food, and good service. The lunch specials are very generous. I would recommend the enchiladas. Also has a few vegetarian options.

Visiting K. C.for work and some colleagues commented that kc is bbq famous and can't do Mexican food.well they are liars. Los Tules is amazing and I've traveled all over the U. S. Shout out to bartender Lily, amazing food, service, and bomb margaritas!

I have been going to this wonderful restaurant for 20 plus years. Love the beef burrito with cheese top $5.52! To go on weekends. Friendliest comical staff in the city! They have the only refried beans that I can digest without revisitation, lol! Cheese dip is OMG good! Come with an elastic waist! You can't stop eating! It's that "little hole in the wall" that makes you remember Kansas City. And when you come back.you will make a beeline for them. All of us who moved back here still eat here. Smiles, Annie

Only place I know of with real authentic chili con quesos! They are my absolute favorite! I get atleast 4 every time I go! Must have if you haven't tried them! This place is a gem!

Delightful Mexican restaurant near the Kaufmann. Easy access off I 35 and plentiful parking. Ample seating inside for couple or large parties. Reservations recommended. Tacos are a delight. Great and varied menu. Best part is the a la carte menu where I selected the fish taco and the Barrias taco and both were delicious. Go today and you will be greeted by friendly and helpful staff.
