Lot L reviews
11In the rain it was a hike to the stadium. Not bad for getting out of the facility. A lot of winding around to get to spots.
This was a good parking spot for tailgating, but it was a little hard to get out after the game.
Lot L (also shown as the red lots for concert events) at GEHA stadium in Kansas City was very difficult to know how to get there due to heavy traffic and once entering you were directed around one lot via cones and then to the far end of the parking lot to then first come first served for whatever place to park. Parking for events is prepaid and was $65 for lotL/red lot and if you wanted to be a little closer you could pay $200. Handicap parking was indicated on the website but don’t expect to find any or shuttle. A long walk to the stadium.
Long way way in, only 1 way out. Took forever to even get to car.poorly organized parking plan.avoid lot L at all costs.
$57 nightmare. Had we not jumped the fence I doubt we would be home today. My wife probably broke her ankle but it was worth it to get out. Today is whatever day you are reading this.
This was our first time visiting and it wasn’t what we expected. We had high expectations given the reputation of the Chiefs. We came here for a concert. The concert itself was amazing, we loved the performance. But the parking situation was awful. We thought we wouldn’t have any issues when we pre-purchased our parking pass but that was far from the truth. Just trying to get to the parking lot was a nightmare. There was very little direction or indication of where to go, cars were lined up on the roads in all directions, a lot of people were jumping out of their cars in the middle of the road to run through the traffic towards the stadium. Leaving was even worse. Thousands of people were all trying to get through the tunnel to get to the pedestrian bridge. During the chaos, hundreds of people just started to jump the fence and walked through tall grass to get to the parking lots. Given the fact that the Chief games always sell out, we figured it would be more organized than it was. If you’re planning to attend an event or game here for the first time just be prepared. Be prepared to wait a long time, leave early, like a few hours early, if it’s summer bring plenty of water and a portable fan.
Worst parking experience ever. Took an hour to get from the stadium to my car (walking) because of the wait at the stairs to get to the tunnel. Some were jumping the fence. Arrowhead & the Chiefs have had decades to figure out their parking & traffic situations & are just terrible at it. Embarrassing!
It was not very organized trying to park, and over an hour gridlock to get out. Partly due to rude people, but mostly due to an accident not far from the parking lot.
Crowded. But was as good as it could be. Enjoyed game very much. Except for the cold. Which no can contol.
It's quite a ways to the stadium, but port-a-potty lines are a lot shorter and after the game you get out super fast!
Don't get stuck in lot L! Gate 3 on Blue Ridge Cutoff seems to only route here if you have red parking. Only access to and from the stadium without walking around a long fence is the pedestrian tunnel. No problem before the game, but afterwards there's a huge logjam of people trying to get into the tunnel.
