The store in O'Fallon sold me a used step ladder. I used the curbside service. When I got home, I noticed it right away and called the store to tell them. I returned it to the store in Wentzville. I refuse to go back to the store in O'Fallon.

This whole experience has been a double edged sword. While the whole tech/ordering/computer side of the visit was an absolute fiasco, Bob, the guy helping us out, was awesome. Despite numerous issues with the tech side of our transaction, he endlessly worked to ensure everything turned out as smooth as possible. Numerous phone calls, multiple false starts, and Bob kept working to make it happen. Absolute 5 star employee on what could have been a much less satisfying visit.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had with Lowe's regarding the installation of 11 new Pella E glass windows for the front of my home.

Firstly, it took an astonishing 3 months for the installers to schedule the installation, which is completely unacceptable. My wife has MS, and I travel frequently, so proper planning and timing were crucial for us. We were planning on doing the rear of our 20-year-old home as well, but after this experience, we are seriously reconsidering it.

One of the major issues I encountered was the delivery of the 1" x 8" trim boards that Lowe's supplied for the windows. I requested these boards one month in advance and stressed the importance of having them painted with multiple coats before installation. However, they arrived just one day before the installation, causing significant inconvenience for me and disrupting my schedule.

Furthermore, the install team arrived to find that the Lowe's representative who measured the existing windows made a mistake, resulting in the windows being 1" short on height. While the install team managed to find a workaround, it significantly delayed the installation process. Originally scheduled for two days, it took them over 1 1/2 days to install just three windows. Now, I am faced with waiting over a month to have the remaining eight windows installed. This delay is entirely unnecessary and reflects poorly on Lowe's and Summit, the installation company.

I strongly believe that Lowe's should prioritize completing ongoing projects before moving on to the next ones. It's illogical to leave a job incomplete while customers like me are left waiting for weeks to have our windows properly installed.

I attempted to voice my concerns by reaching out to Nick, the store manager at the Lowe's store. However, despite taking a message and promising a callback within 10 minutes, I never received a return call. This lack of communication is disappointing but unfortunately not surprising given my overall experience.

Additionally, two of the three windows installed had moisture between the glass panes the morning after the installation. This is extremely concerning, as I chose Pella due to their reputation for quality products. However, this experience has soured my 30-year customer relationship with Lowe's.

I must commend the installation team for their professionalism and knowledge during this ordeal. However, the ongoing issues and lack of accountability from Lowe's and Summit have overshadowed their efforts.

In summary, my experience with Lowe's and Summit has been nothing short of incompetent and frustrating. I expected a smooth and efficient window installation process, especially with a reputable brand like Pella, but what I received was the complete opposite.

I strongly urge Lowe's to reconsider its approach to project scheduling, communication, and customer service. As it stands, this experience has left me disillusioned and regretful of my decision to choose Lowe's for this project.

Have the sale price marked on the shelf telling us it was different with multiple points of evidence will no longer be shopping with them the guys name was mark and the sales associate was very rude can't rember her name.

Lowe's has been my go to store for landscaping improvement, lately. The girl that works in the return area in St Charles Mo.is a GREAT asset to your company. She is efficient and friendly. I wish I knew her name, she deserves the recognition.

We bought a new dishwasher from this store. We brought the measurements of what we needed and the guy told us that the measurements don’t matter because they’re all the same size. Dishwasher got delivered and it is two inches too big so now we have to return it and buy a new one. Thanks guy.

If I could give 0 stars I would have done that. So in April we filed a claim for a microwave that we purchased from lowes in October of 2019. After 2 visits from the repairman several parts were needed to possibly fix the microwave. In late May the warranty company decided it was more cost effective to give us a gift card to purchase a new microwave form Lowe's. So we went to purchase a microwave from a local Lowes store. Well the lady working in applicance department that night didnt want to be bothered by us shopping for a new microwave. She sat in her chair and told us to just order it online. So that's what we did. A week later we picked up our new microwave and attempted to install it. The measurements were off by an ⅛ of an inch. So we returned this microwave and ordered a new one. Well 2 days later we installed this microwave. Well this new microwave must not be alligned properly. The door is rubbing when the door opens and closes. Therefore it has already wore off the finish. We have talked with severeal employees at the lowes store including 2 managers. One employee suggested I order a new microwave and return the broken one with the new receipt because I will be outside of the 48 hour return window once the new microwave came in. (The employees reminded me several times that the return window would have been longer if we purchased it on a lowes credit card. Once again we used the gift card given to us by the warrnaty company). Manager Jason said I will need to order a new microwave and then return this one once the new one arrives and receive a refund. Also he couldn't be bothered to give me a timeframe on when a new microwave could be shipped. Well at that point I would be receiving a refund to the lowes gift card after paying cash for a new microwave to be oreeded. This long, drawn out experience reminds me why we switched to doing buisness at Home Depot. Oh yeah were still dealing with a new broken microwave. Thanks a lot!

** spoke with Lowes at the 800 number. Still no resolution to our issue.

After they canceled my washer delivery for the 2nd time to schedule another 5 days in the future I cancelled the order. They do not have next day delivery even though they advertise that. I ordered may 23 and it is June 6

Bought a new washing machine on line waited for the Wash machine to be delivered. Went to go pick it up and someone sold it or gave it away to someone they have no clue. This has become an issue with this location. You buy something on line go to pick it up, and it is not there or not ready. I stopped using Wentzville due to management not being able to count, and now it looks like O'Fallon just sells your stuff for you after it arrives. The service has gone down so much in recent years, I guess I need to switch to Home Depot. Beware when ordering on line check the order for the right amount to ensure the they are not cheating you, and make sure you have a back up plan in case they sell or give your product away that you order.
