Mallard's Roadhouse, Clinton MO

While busy is a good thing for restaurants, it's key to great every customer like the only customer. The appetizer went to a different table, so it was given after the meal was set on the table. The mashed potatoes were not the freshest looking or tasting. The prices were a bit high for the quality. The staff was very friendly, my steak was cooked to the right stage and it was tasty. Sour cream in a packet reminded me of going thru a Wendy's drive thru, not a sit down restaurant.

Excellent pork tenderloin, burgers, and fried mushrooms. Clean, comfortable place with friendly staff and great food. This place will be a regular stop for me.

Husband ordered the Roadhouse Salad, said brisket was excellent. I had the Patty Melt with a side of fries, also excellent. Great food, service was very good.

Fantastic! Stopped on our way home from Branson. Food was excellent! Very clean and superb service. Wish they were closer to me.

Love this place best service food awesome arrived 15 min before they closed and they still served us thank you again and they were very polite and did not rush us at all

Chose to stop here after searching Google for info. Very pleasant surprise! Fun decor, very friendly server, food was delicious! My friend had the grilled Mahi sandwich and I had the special, a prime rib sandwich.both were excellent! They both came with fries that had a coating that made them crispy and well seasoned. Will definitely stop here again!

Excellent place to eat. Huge portions! Very friendly staff. Very clean. Had pork tenderloin sandwich. Dinner plate size. Chicken fried chicken dinner same. Both hand breaded and crispy. Seemed like enough help but not a real busy time of day. I’m sure they can handle anything. Need places in NE Nebr.like this.

Read some really good reviews so we decided to try it. Had smoked brisket that beat any barbecue I ever had. Wonderful baked beans and excellent Cole slaw. Husband had cheeseburger (huge) and crispy, delicious fries. Service by Christina was great. Did I mention the atmosphere was really nice too?

Best meal at a very fair price in a long time! Service was excellent as well. When we are passing through, we will be back.

Mallard is hands down THE BEST restaurant Clinton has. Can't go wrong with anything you order. We've had a few problems with food, mistakes happen.

Outstanding place right on Hwy 7 headed to the Lakes. Very tender brisket (not over cooked). Fast service. Nice woodsy atmosphere. Reasonably priced. We'd definitely stop again on the way to Branson.

Comfortable and inviting. Friendly staff. Generous portions. Steak was juicy and tender but could have used some seasoning. I would go back and try additional menu items
