Marc K. Taormina, MD, Lee's Summit MO

I have been a patient of Dr Marc Taormina’s and his nurse practitioner’s-for over 5 years. During that time I have had nothing but problems, confusion and forgotten testing and lab orders that were never sent. The labs that were done in his office I was charged $100’s more than Quest or Labcore.

I am on a fixed income with Medicare and Medicaid. My partner who has private insurance goes to Taormina also. We both have seen the difference in the quality of care I have received compared to his. It is blatant discrimination. I would not recommend Dr Marc Taormina or his practice to my worst enemy.

I would highly recommend Dr. Taormina and his practice to anyone looking for a GI specialist. Very professional and very helpful.

Professional Staffs and Doctor, Modern and Clean Facility. Patient care was outstanding. Waiting period was excellent, didn't have to wait very long including the procedures. Great Little Hospital.

Dr. Taormina has years of experience with GI issues. He is excellent. The colonoscopy experience is not traumatic in any way. His staff is friendly and yet professional. They work as a team to get you ready and are sensitive to your needs. They are very present in recovery and they did appropriate follow up after the fact. I trust him and his staff completely. I cannot imagine going to anyone else.

I highly recommend Dr. Taormina and his team for a colonoscopy. My recent procedure was attended by wonderful nurses from entry to release. The anesthesiologist put me at ease with his initial visit and into the procedure room. And Dr. Taormina visited me before the colonoscopy and put my mind at ease, too. I was visited by the doctor again afterwards and got a good report, complete with pictures! Please consider Dr. Taormina’s team for any GI procedure. You’ll be in good hands!

Great clinic! I would have given them a 5 star but the Nurse Practitioner I was assigned to kept getting me confused with another patient, she keep apologizing but it made me a bit nervous. Her advice and treatment though was correct and I'm doing much better. I'd recommend it but make sure they know who you are and what medications you are taking.

I had a great experience on my office visit with Nurse Practitioner Vadsana Smith. She was great she took time to listen to me and explain everything to me. She answered all my questions. Her nurse Kelly was super too. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I first met Dr Taormina when I randomly chose his practice for routine diagnostics. I had a good experience at that time and was impressed with his professionalism and caring demeanor, as well as that of all the nursing staff.
When I developed complex GI issues, I returned numerous times to their surgery center for diagnostics and treatment. Some of my problems required surgical intervention. When I returned for follow up after the surgeries, Dr Taormina helped me reach a deeper level of understanding of what I had experienced and what to expect moving forward. Throughout the whole process, which took place over the span of several years, I have always felt cared for. Everyone has treated me with patience, respect, and kindness. I will return for any future GI related issues.

From check in to check out this office is professional, friendly, personable, and clean. Each person thoroughly explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. Even the IV gets a gold star for quick and painless. 100% recommend them especially if you have put off the tests that could save lives. Go see them.

A colonoscopy is not much fun at all. At least not the prep. Dr. Taormina and his staff make the entire process much nicer. They are in contact with you before, during and after. All of his staff are good at their jobs. My husband has been seeing Dr. Taormina for years. Kudos to him and his team!

Dr. Taormina and his staff were exceptional in accommodating my needs during my outpatient surgery. His staff (Michelle, Cristal, Adam and Leesa) were very attentive to my needs and answered all my questions in an accurate and professional manner. My husband and myself have gone to Dr. Marc Taormina for many years. When you have a colonoscopy or EDG, there is no pain and no harsh prep! Him and all the staff are so pleasant, knowledgeable and understanding.
We highly recommend him.

I have seen many GI doctors. But Dr. T and the entire crew made my experiencelike never before. Dr. T was very informative! Nd i feel he is going to finally get to the bottom of my problems. The group is AWESOME and i would recommend them highly!
