Marcus Eagles Landing Cinema reviews
16The movie we went to see wasn’t actually available due to technical problems. They didn’t bother to place a note on the front door so we went in, bought popcorn & sodas & when we went to go in to the theater they told us it would not be available. They even had my email since I purchased tickets online but no notice was sent.
Absolute dump. Employees are rude and ignorant. Seats are worn-out and torn. Will never return. Waynesville theater is way better and well worth the drive.
This theater is great! It's very clean, and the accommodations and seating are very comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's a wonderful experience to enjoy with friends and family!
Assigned seats what im I ten again? And In school if I’m paying for a movie I should be able to sit anywhere I want
Concession stand need to explain
Combo's prices better.
Clean the counter.
Does not pay to order food ahead. They were supposed to have it ready, but we waited for our popcorn longer than people who hadn't ordered ahead. Otherwise it was good!
Worst experience
Bathrooms were filthy. Toilets were disgusting and toilet paper was all over the floor. Theatre 6 was dirty It had sticky floors, food and trash were all over the floor. The seats we bought online were not the seats shown on our tickets. Dozens of people were all confused where they sat. This caused a disruption at the start of the movie.
Advertised a popcorn, soda, and candy on their website for $17.76 for the 4th of July special. Thought it was pretty good deal since popcorn is like $20. Lady said she can’t honor it cause the don’t have a certain candy and i needed to order the more high priced item. Seriously!?
Love this theater, but the bathrooms are ALWAYS dirty! I've brought this to their attention several times in the past without resolution. This time the bathroom stall didn't even have a latch to lock it.
Nice family place, good deals on Tuesday (I believe). I liked that they had Sound of Freedom and have had other good Christian movies that came out this year! Way to go guys
I love the cleanliness, friendly workers, and food. Thank you so much for the fun evening with the family.
I do like how there are assigned seats, however they are outdated and some are worn and ratty. Most theaters have the nice recliner seats. The familiar faces that have been there for years are always friendly. The kids working are hit and miss depending on their day but I figure that’s just kids today. Only four stars because they need to update their seats. Popcorn is always great! Bathrooms are clean.
UPDATE TO ONE STAR
Went to see Sound of Freedom today and it was pretty full. Seats are assigned and this is the second time I’ve encountered people just sitting where they want. Last time, our seats were occupied and the people sitting in them told us there were plenty of seats to choose from. My bigger problem is today there was an older woman alone and someone was in her seat. She went to get help and after being gone A LONG TIME she came back and sat next to us saying she was told to just find an empty seat. If the theatre doesn’t help those who have chosen and paid for a seat then people are going to continue being entitled and sit wherever they want. Also, what happened to the days when there was an usher there to help people find their seats. Assigned seats means assigned seats. If I choose a seat and pay for it……. That should be my seat. I was just very disappointed in the staff and how they didn’t help this woman when after paying she didn’t have a place to sit. She had to move twice because after being told to find another empty seat…. Someone came to claim the seat she was in. Much prefer The Alamo and AMC. This is never an issue because there are staff making sure people find their correct seats.
First of all: The Sound of Freedom movie was moving, based on a true story, & set on a VERY important topic.
Secondly: the theater itself was HOT. I mean around 80 degrees.the cashier had picking spots all over her arms-this is the person serving popcorn and snacks. Yuck.
Also, Not a fan of assigned seating. Maybe consider cleaning the bathrooms every once in a while- the women’s restroom was disgusting.
They need to hire a new protectionist. Somebody's cranked the brightness on the projectors and everything is washed out and has no contrast. Gave me a headache trying to focus on the screen.
Also the little Dolby "All Around You" thing is kind of sad when the left side speakers don't work.
Decent seating and clean, concessions were pricey (only reason for 4 out of 5)
Not overcrowded.
Went to a movie premiere that was supposed to have a Livestream event prior to the movie start. Advertised that way. My family drove down from Columbia to see this special Livestream event and they didn't show it even though they advised it. The worst part was we weren't the only ones that drove an hour plus to experience the Livestream. The manager in charge first wasn't going to do anything about ruining everyone chance to see the Livestream until the group of very angry people all spoke up. It wasn't until lots of verbal pushing did they actually refund some of the cost of the tickets. Theaters wonder why people don't attend, it's experiences like that.
