Markey Park reviews
18Markey Park is a fantastic place for youth sports and such. We enjoyed our day there, and will be returning for more baseball! Super clean, well-maintained, nice snack bar, and clean restrooms! Fields are in excellent shape. An All-around family-friendly place.
They don't take cash, only reason I didn't walk out was my grandson was playing ball
The pitcher's mounds are way too compact and not at all long enough for guys that are tall and/or have a long stride. Not wide enough either
Prepare to WALK and WALK to get to the back ballfields. Concessions and bathroom. A small playground area
The Empire that called the game daughter was playing never do that he was he was throwing the game for his daughter
Great baseball fields, playground are little small, and concessions a little high for little leaguers. However, beautiful and plenty of parking and trail for walking. Great lighting.
We play softball at these fields pretty often and they are always well taken care of. Staff is great also
Nice fields, would be great if they had live feed incase one has to work and can't make the games, would also be better with score boards that actually show the scores.
Really nice dog park! People were nice and actually watched their dogs to prevent issues. I'll be going there from now on!
Bathrooms are a step above prison-style. Concessions needs organization and worker training, ran out of things on the 1st day of a tournament. The bleachers are nice, though.
This is the best park for me to take all of my kids. Never to crowded. Good for introverted families
Love it
Markey Park has a dog park fenced, playground for the kids, and a walk way for those who like to jog or talk a walk around the park. It also has a baseball court.
Great little dog park. Very clean, lots of toys just laying around for my dog to play with. If I had a criticism I would ask that it open at 5am instead of 6am and additional poop bag/drinking stations. The agility obstacles they have set up are better than some other parks I've been to. The dog park closes at sunset which is standard. Separate small and large dog sections with a divison at the 30 mark. Nice place, I've been to a ton of dog parks and this one is pretty darn good!
This was our first visit to the small dog park. My little guy loved it. He even made some friends witb thbig boys and girls on the other side of the fence.
Large divots at home plate in the batter boxes, and next to some of the bases. 5 fields.long walking trail/ road that goes all the way around the fields.
I think there is a dog park also.
Park was clean but restrooms were dirty and no toilet paper. Concession stand ran out of food before end of first game on friday night and closed so nothing to drink for 2nd game.
The restrooms are the worst I have ever seen. In a time where cleanliness is a huge priority. The sinks do not drain and the water will not stay on, and is so close to the back of the sink that your hands are constantly touching the dirty water and sink. The hand dryer wall looks as though it has never been cleaned. The fields are fine, but even if Covid was not a thing I would suggest lots of hand sanitizer or holding it all day.
