Lived at Marlborough Trails apartments for two years. One of those two years was during the start of COVID. The facility and staff were super understanding during this time. I believe they went above and beyond.

This apartment complex was definitely a good/affordable option for me. Some of the other pros for me was relatively fast maintenance, secured Laundromats, the fun decorating events, the balconies, and the discount for recommending a friend.

I always felt safe during my time here as all of my neighbors were friendly or kept to themselves, and there were frequent patrols by Marlborough Police.

I am moving in here soon and the staff is so friendly! I got such warm vibes from them and I’m very excited to call it home.

Beware of False Advertising. This organization advertises apartments from $570-$680 however an additional charge of $110@ month will be added for Water, Sewer & Trash. Therefore the REAL price is $680-$790. FYI: Water, Sewer and Trash charge should be $25-$30 at most. $110 @ month is way out of line. Buyer Beware. Before renting ask abt this extraneous fee so you can fairly compare to other Affton apts for $790@ month.

I WAS a potential renter and Abby was really nice when I came in to view the place. The apartment complex was fine, the unit was a little dated for the price, plus the $110 monthly charge for water, sewer & trash; however I was still interested in renting from them. I turned in my application on Tuesday 5/25 along with a $300 payment to take the unit off the market.
They pulled my credit on that Thursday 5/27. The following Wednesday 6/2, I called to follow up and spoke with the property manager Joe and he said all they were waiting on was my background check and landlord references.

After not hearing anything else, I emailed them on Friday 6/4 to get the status of my application. I received an email from Abby shortly after saying that they were still waiting for my landlord references, however if they didn't receive it by the end of the day, my app would be passed along to their manager without the rental verification but "it will not negatively impact your application, if you do not have it. "

I received a call from Joe on 6/8 and told that my app had been denied. I was in complete shock and I forgot to ask why I was denied, as I was led to believe that everything was fine and the only thing that they didn't have was my landlord reference.

I called them back about 20 minutes later and asked to speak to Joe, so that I could get more answers and also to see if I could pay a higher deposit or get a co-signer because I really wanted this place. I was told by Abby that Joe was on a call but he would call me as soon as he was available.

About 30 minutes later, I received an email from Joe saying that I was denied due to my credit rating and that a letter detailing exactly why I was declined would be included with my deposit money order that I could pick up. My current roommate/friend was picking this stuff up (which was stated in my previous email to them) for me before they closed. She indicated to me that Joe was very rude to her and cut her off several times.

They pulled my credit on 5/27. If my credit wasn't up to their standards they should have stopped the process then and let me know that I was denied. Instead they strung me along for an additional 12 days and then were unwilling to work with me.

I'm a supervisor at a company that I've been with for more than 13 years and I make well above their required 3x the amount of rent. My credit isn't the best, however the issue isn't that I was denied, the issue is they strung me along for 2 weeks and made me think that everything was fine in the process.

What they did was very unprofessional and if they start off setting such a low bar at the application process, I could only imagine the low standards of their property management skills.

I have lived in these apartments for 7 months now and cannot say good enough things about Marlborough Trails. Management helps with whatever I need and everyone is so friendly! The complex is so clean and has everything I could possibly need. 10/10 recommend for anyone!

Set up a tour for the display since there were no two bedrooms currently open, but they would be available soon. Drove 40 minutes to see the place. Immediately turned off — incredibly outdated and looks like some of the buildings are going to legitimately collapse. Disregarded this, and went to the leasing office anyways. Was told at the door that they no longer have a two bedroom. And they didn’t think to call? Honestly feeling relieved I didn’t attempt to rent here — the office staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful.

This apartment complex was rude to me on the phone, they were unwilling to work with me and very difficult. Wouldn't live here if it was the last place in Missouri.

I hope all apartments complex’s know marijuana is legal now and almost everyone has there card and dispensarys are opening up the street, it’s 2021, it’s time to change the rules or be sued if you try to get them evicted for medical use

Maintenance is really fast, which is very nice. Their pool and their gym are clean and even though the summer I felt safe using both. They took great precautions during the pandemic, which I really appreciate. I think they gave us a fair price and since we have lived here they have not raised our rent significantly. We also really connect with our neighbors which is an added bonus.
They also do fun decorating contests every so often during holidays, which bring a sense of community that I enjoy.

Inform Marlborough trail residents that trespassing onto Fernbrook Dr via crossing of private property is illegal. To prevent future damages to property trespassers will be prosecuted to full extent. The bus stop at Laclede Station rd and Shellburne is no longer in service.

Everything is old and outdated; musty smelling cabinets. I lived there for approximately 2 1/2 years and for some kind of business reason they did not want to renew my lease. I always paid rent on or way before due date. I wasn't ready to move and had to borrow money from relatives to find a new place and relocate. I finally found out from their corporate that they were contemplating renovating the apartment I was in and that is why they could not renew my lease. So why not offer me another 2 bedroom that they had plenty of? I was really screwed with their decision. The Attorney States General Office is involved in this. BTW - I am a senior citizen with disabilities.guess that doesn't count for anything.
