Terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone who is wanting a good experience. Drove 12 hours, made a reservation and they cancelled it before I got there. Then refused to give me a refund.

The staff and security on the evening of Sunday February 28 were lovely and deserve recognition. The room was very clean. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

The hotel was great, but our room was not fully cleaned, which is a little worrisome due to the pandemic. There was a substantial amount of water in the ice bucket, hair in the shower, and the mirrors in the bathroom and hall were dirty. Overall it was a nice stay, but I'm glad I brought sanitizing spray and wipes to clean everything that was missed.

The Marriott in St. Louis is ok. It is clean and the staff professional and courteous. But no more than expected at a Marriott. The prices were high and the rooms small.but comfortable. Access was easy. But downtown St. Louis definately has a certain racial tension permeating the atmosphere. I wouldn't go there if business didn't require it.

I had a great experience others in my group not so much. But if I need a bellman, they were there. My room was well cleaned everything day of my stay which was 9 days!
Bar drinks were a bit pricey and they weren't prepared for the numbers we had but they were the main hotel of 6 for our Assembly. Even after they saw the numbers the first night, they didn't adjust their staff.

Very well located Marriott Grand in downtown Saint Louis on Washington Avenue at 8th. Parking garage is in the tricky, south west on 9th. Nicely refurbished hotel with excellent location!

Fantastic hotel in downtown St Louis. We used it every year for the last 4 years for a robotics competition. Right across the street from the America Center complex very convenient. Right in the center of it all. Fantastic staff great facility.

This has been by go to Marriot property in STL. Even though my work often takes me near the airport, I find the amenities and quality at this location out way the minimal commute inconvenience.

The rooms themselves are updated and contemporary. However the beds were uncomfortable, the guests next door woke us up at 3: 00 am and had to make a call to front desk. They charge for in room WiFi and $20 a person for breakfast, which was like warm at best. Personally, not worth the money to stay.

Beautiful rooms, clean bathrooms, pleasant staff. Personally, my favorite part is the gym! It's huge! Plenty of machines and equipment.

Very modern.very friendly. The food in the convention center was excellent! This place has the nicest gym with new modern equipment that I've ever seen in a hotel. It's nicer than the gym I belong to at home.

Great hotel, excellent rooms. The water temp is hot enough to burn the sin out of you but is extreemly variable while showering. The water temp will go from hot to cold to scalding to cold and just stay. Overall good hotel.

We made reservations through our Marriott rewards to stay at a different local hotel. We arrived at that hotel to find out that we had 1 king sized bed to accommodate 5 people which is not what we had reserved. They had no other rooms available which led us to the Marriott at the Grand. We arrived very late in the night to wonderful hospitality, beginning with the gentleman who took care of our car. The next gentleman was delivering a pull away bed to us as we walked in. We needed extra blankets, pillows and towels, which room service kindly delivered in a prompt manner. The Hotel was very clean, elegant and friendly. The front desk kindly offered suggestions to local breakfasts restaurants, along with printed directions for our convenience. They loaded our car as well. We loved our experience and can’t wait to return to St. Louis to stay at such a wonderful hotel!

Beautiful hotel with a very large room. Stayed on the 21st floor and the views were some of the best in recent memory. Valet very prompt and efficient, never had to wait for the car to be brought around. Didn't order any food or drinks from the bar, but it's a great space that had a lively crowd each evening with a gigantic screen for viewing spring events. The Fresh Bites option for quick dining was so convenient and the food was decent. The female helping me select a sandwich was very courteous and professional. Gave me a few pointers about local spots as well. Nice selection of snacks and open late. Lovely room with mini fridge and microwave. TV had internet option, but couldn't access Amazon prime. Water pressure good, shower somewhat dated, but acceptable. Not sure if I liked the self closing door on the restroom, was irritating when trying to talk to someone else in the room while getting ready, but liked the convenience at other times. Propped open easily enough, problem solved. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Went to a large function here (1350+ in attendance). Reception on main floor was very nice, vegetables/cheese/hummus/naan, cold shrimp. Dinner on 2nd floor was delicious. Salmon and steak, salad, green beans, carrots, a selection of cheese cakes. All the food was fresh and very well prepared and presented. The salmon was excellent! Deliciously flavored and not at all dry. The banquet staff was helpful and friendly though with the large amount in attendance it did take them some time to get everyone's dinner out to the tables. Tables were beautifully set. We did appreciate valet parking. I would definitely recommend this venue.

1st off check in receptionist not very friendly. Housekeeping made up for that negative though. But website said has pool with pics but nope they made gym area bigger by taking out swimming pool. Thirdly while we were there on business we were constantly approached by homeless and hotel said nothing could be done because they didnt have security. One lady asked to speak to higher ups but no avail to her. They put her on hold until she figured out they werent going to help.will never use that hotel again. Hope this review helps others to not be mislead. If you do go dont have high expectations.

2 stars because the room was nice. Customer service sucked at desk. I’m on a Military PCS move. My stop was St. Louis. First problem I came with truck and trailer. I called like 1pm and made reservation for a king room at government rate. Arrived at 11: 45 pm and was told oh we only have double queen beds no kings. I rose a fuss and got my king room. Oh and you have to pay for parking. Around hotel! But street parking is free until 8am. Second problem had truck and trailer so I paid for garage parking$ 28. I was told I could park in garage from the front desk. Once I arrived i was denied excess and was shown a BIG BLUE SIGN no trailers so I had to find a street to park on at my own risk! So I’m back at desk with my service dog waiting to get refund on parking that took me an hour almost two to find! And security comes out just looking at me. Third problem THE SERVICE DESK EMPLOYEE hair falling out his head and has a strong accent. Is being nice to a young lady offering her water and telling her about places to go. So she leaves happy with water great service and all.he acts like I’m not there. Walks back to doing paperwork! So I introduce myself and ask for my refund on parking. They asked me where I parked because it’s an $70 fee to park on side of hotel. I responded free parking until 8. I had no choice it’s late! So I asked him.well can u offer me and my family water too? And good service! His rude ass said go ahead and turned his back on us! Then security steps to me like where is the id for your service dog. I showed it to them. I mean dam I’m Military I have my family and service dog running around looking for parking downtown St. Louis. I don’t know the streets! But I found out after 1hr and 30mins looking for parking! Then to be harassed then ignored because I wasn’t his preference to attend too! Which is messed up! He needs to be fired! Or given an Equal Opportunity Class! Money is green.shouldn’t have a color behind it!

Beautiful property, central location, excellent customer service from the banquet staff for the event I attended. Unfortunately, I used valet parking and received a ticket that took repeated attempts to resolve. The hotel informed me that this was not their usual valet parking service, though this service used Marriott St. Louis Grand hangtags and had no indicators they were not official valet service. I called three times over three weeks to get the issue resolved. Daniel and Annelise, the last two assistant managers I spoke with, were very responsive, helpful, and swift. They repaired my valet issue within 48 hours on a holiday weekend-kudos to these two staff, though disappointment that I had to call over such a long period of time to find two helpful people!

I was there Thanksgiving week, and the Front Desk staff said that the hotel was mostly unoccupied - which was the reason that the Concierge Lounge was closed. To offset the Concierge Lounge, they gave me a coupon for a buffet breakfast - but, in the morning, there was no buffet breakfast (again, because of low occupancy). I was able to order off the menu, but that's a longer process. The real issue, though, is that I was supposedly given an 'upgraded' room (I'm Lifetime Platinum at Marriott), but the upgraded room did not have a view of the Arch. So, they apparently have a LOT of empty rooms (remember, they had very low occupancy that week), but couldn't give a Platinum Premier member a view of the Arch? Even aside from the view, or lack of view, I could not tell what was 'upgraded' about the room; it seemed like a pretty basic hotel room. Overall, not what I expect from Marriott.
