Martin House Motel

First time I stayed there was 28 years ago. The place is still in good shape, not the Hilton but clean and the cute little notes made me smile.

It is what it is. Small road side hotel. Old not fancy but clean and good service with good price

Staff was very informative and helpful little hurries at checkout rooms were very small but clean and all necessities were covered great price for a night or two rest.

Very family oriented, older building with smaller roms but the service is great. The rooms are extremely clean! The housekeepers do an excellent job! The front desk clerk is nice and friendly, the manager is nice except when he gets woke up at night to check someone in, or have to unlock there door because they forget it in the room. The check in desk is closed after 10 pm. Fresh coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate at 4in the morning.

Heres a local hotel that's nice in price older style but usually available anytime. Its no thrills but for us like family coming in unexpected we use them because we spend the most of the time at the house I just dont have the extra rooms for people to sleep. Met the staff sitting outside. They said they needed a few mins to finish up the room and we gladly told them they had time we were just looking for something after 8pm. Family was thrilled with the hotel and very comfy.

It was an absolute pleasure finding a place like this. Mild community and an older motel that was super clean and kept up. It was amazing to see how well a motel could be maintained. All other motels could learn a lot by staying here.

Good, simple spot to catch a few hours sleep. Original bathroom hardware & tile is very cool My bed was some assembly required (didn’t quite get made), but for the price it didn’t bother me at all. I’d stay again on my way through.

Decent price nights stay (about 60$), the lobby and hallways smell slightly of smoke (despite the many no smoking signs), but the rooms themselves are very clean despite the atmosphere. Within walking distance of McDonald’s, Subway, and Casey’s gas station.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, they were able to accommodate us right away for a 2+ wks.stay + our 2 service dogs too, which we really appreciated!
The rooms are clean, with a queen size bed, a small microwave and refrigerator, big screen tv, a/c, and free parking, wifi, hot tea/cocoa and coffee!
The location is very convenient, nearby McDonald's, Subway, Pizza Hut, Casey's, China Garden Restaurant, Brookfield Café, Walmart, etc, and they have drinks and snacks vending machines too!
For a 1 * rated hotel, they're surely under rated. 5 *s from us!

Very clean! While the furnishings are older you couldn’t ask for nicer people or a cleaner room! For the price it’s a hidden gem!

A quaint, vintage roadside motel from the 50's. The shower has great water pressure and it's quiet in your room. Each room also has a mini fridge & microwave. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly employees and met the Japanese reindeer across the road. We will stay again when we pass through. Thank you for the hospitality.

My stay at The Martin House has been Great. The rooms are clean and smoke free. Housekeeping has been awesome they are on top of things.

If I didn't already have somewhere to go. I would be tempted to just live here. If I'm ever passing through again. I know where I'm staying.

If you are looking for a good night sleep close to the highway and cheap this is the place. Small older building BUT well maintained. Check in process is dated but she was very nice.

It felt like visiting my grandparents for a night. And that's just great. Especially when don't get to see them as often as you would like. The people are friendly. The rooms are cozy. Keep up the good work!

Tiny, tiny room but squeeky clean. TV, refrigerator, microwave. Warm, comfortable and quiet. $10 for the dog. Nice people at check in. If I had been alone, 5 star. Too small for 2 people and a dog.

I love this place. It's my second visit and I'll use it again in the future. It's not glamorous, but it's a friendly place to get a good night's sleep away the right price.
