AmFam maintains a LOW exposure rate (not insuring in high natural disaster areas), thus they can focus on a smaller, less prone areas of disaster.and 2022/2023 have been very sad years.
The other companies offering deductible pay backs & lower premiums for lower risk policies (I believe) are more exposed & only "refund" on their higher priced policies.
In 2023 I took advantage of a discount by installing a Ring video/doorbell system.
We have bundled our home, auto, and umbrella coverage through Matt Hocker Agency Inc American Family Insurance for the past several years. We recently met with Matt to review our coverages, and look at what the future is likely to bring our way. We trust and appreciate Matt very much. He is honest and upfront. Our possessions are fully insured thanks to Matt. You may find a less expensive rate, but look carefully at what that would cover. Matt will protect you.
